Read on for my thoughts on last night's episode of Impact Wrestling.
- RVD/Sabu/Dreamer vs. Moose/North:
I'm surprised they're starting off with this.
This is crazy to see in 2019.
It's also crazy to see Dreamer on Double or Nothing in front of 12,000 people and then in front of 300ish.
Ahhhhh I've missed Sabu.
Oh, wow. She's getting in on the action, too.
Wowwwwww. That was pretty cool. Probably pretty short-sighted booking, but fun.
- Cage video:
There's your answer for when Cage will be back.
- Moose promo:
Yeah, see, the loss hurt the new team Impact was trying to push.
- Gilbertti promo:
This is entertaining for how cheap and outdated it is.
Fucking LOL.
- Gilbertti vs. Tessa:
This definitely brought Tessa down from the Gail feud, but I guess they wanted us to be 1000% sure she's a face now.
- LAX/Rascalz:
Should be a fun enough match.
- Mack/Swann interview:
Nice followup.
- Rohit/Raj vs. Deaners:
OK enough so far.
Fine to continue the Deaners build.
- Kross video:
The most evil man in wrestling. RIP Kenny.
- Elgin/Johnny:
Elgin was badass here.
Good setup for Slammiversary.
- Kross vs. Eddie:
Oh this is fun.
God these two are killing each other.
Oh my God I'm loving this.
HOLY SHIT that chairs bump.
Whoa. Interesting cameo.
Fun match.
- Post-match:
AHHHHHHHHH that was genius.
- Mitchell/Rosemary:
So weird to talk about Allie when she was almost definitely seen by more people alive on Double or Nothing than dead on Impact.
This is pretty crazy.
- Elgin/Johnny vs. Swann/Mack:
Fun start.
This is pretty cool.
Elgin coming to Impact has been a big boost for them.
Everyone here working hard.
This is huge.
Mack's athleticism is unreal.
I like this a lot.
