Main Event Reax - 5/31/19, SSD length, Flair update, Impact title match official, NXT anti-bullying rally, Raw match set, NXT TV preview, SSD promos, TNA Asylum profiled, AEW name at Takeover, HHH conference call, possible WWE injury, and SDL live event notes

-- Main Event:
- Cedric vs. EC3:
This is THE rivalry of Main Event.

Solid enough.

Man EC3 is wasted being on this show.

- Ryder/Hawkins vs. KA/Gallows:
Fine for the time it had. This was just kind of there.

WWE Super ShowDown is slotted for four hours on the WWE Network, with a one-hour Kickoff show. I'm not surprised it's being treated as such a major event given the talent working it and the size of the stadium it's at.

Ric Flair spoke to TMZ Sports about getting a new pacemaker. Naitch is indestructible.

Slammiversary XVII has officially added Brian Cage vs. Michael Elgin for the Impact World Championship in what should be a hell of a match.

NXT's Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole, Matt Riddle, Bianca Belair, and Alicia Taylor did an anti-bullying rally before Takeover. That's awesome.

Raw has added Roman Reigns and the Usos vs. Drew McIntyre and the Usos, which should be pretty fun.

Before Takeover:XXV, NXT taped:
- Keith Lee vs. Kona Reeves
- Bianca Belair vs. Mia Yim

Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins cut local promos for Super ShowDown.

The former TNA Asylum's pending closing was covered by The Tennessean and Nashville Scene.

AEW's Britt Baker was ringside at Takeover:XXV, as she's romantically linked to Adam Cole. I'm glad there wasn't controversy about her attending to support him.

Triple H did his customary post-Takeover conference call, recapped here:
- I don't expect Ciampa back for a while.

- Whoaaaa good to see the show did well for the venue.

- Ahahaah I'm glad he addressed running the same day as All Out.

Mickie James may have been hurt at a Smackdown Live live event on June 1, as she went down and they went right to the finish. I hope we see more of her in the ring.

At Smackdown Live's June 1 live event in Texas:
- Heavy Machinery vs. B-Team turned into a 24/7 Championship segment with Truth successfully escaping Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, and Buddy Murphy. This was the first live event match for either team since April 29. While Heavy Machinery has competed in dark matches at Smackdown Live TV tapings, B-Team hasn't been in action since that date.
- Mickie James' loss to Carmella was her first match since WrestleMania 35.

More wrestling tomorrow.
