NJPW's Super J Cup will be held in Washington and California from August 22 through August 25, the first time the event will be held outside of Japan. The 16-man tournament will feature talents from ROH and CMLL in addition to NJPW, and Jushin "Thunder" Liger will be the producer.

Triple H's June 28 Japan match will see him team with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows against Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe, and Baron Corbin. So after teaming with The Shield, he's now teaming with the former Bullet Club.

MLW will debut the War Chamber at their September 7 Texas event. WWE got back the rights to War Games from the promotion, so MLW is debuting something different.

AEW has hired WWE's former senior director of live event marketing to oversee that aspect of the company. Rafael Morffi has also worked for Impact, MLW, and House of Hardcore among other places inside and outside wrestling.

Melina is on Lilian Garcia's latest podcast.

Impact/HOH's Digital Destruction event was almost delayed as there was a soccer game in the venue that needed to be completed before the ring could be set up. A local indie helped get things set up on a quick schedule.

- The show drew around 450 fans.

Impact removed fans from two events this weekend after they repeatedly harassed talent, one at a TV taping and one at A Night You Can't Mist. The fan at the second show was so distracting Tommy Dreamer addressed him on the mic before he was ejected. As always, there's a line between getting into it with a heel and being so obnoxious that you disrupt others' enjoyment of the show.

ROH's June 29 TV taping has added Sumie Sakai vs. Karissa Rivera in Sumie's first match since breaking her orbital bone at G1 Supercard.

Sasha Banks is currently filming content for WWE 2K20 in Florida. I would think that means WWE expects her back on TV in a few months.

Geena Davis will guest star on "GLOW" for five episodes of the third season. That's pretty great!

Francine is selling an official ECW staff jacket. That's a pretty unique piece of merchandise.

Perry Saturn spoke to Bill Apter. It sounds like his life is improving.

Akira Tozawa is set for EVOLVE's 10th anniversary show on July 13. Tozawa previously competed for Dragon Gate USA.

Becky Lynch is set for MTV's Movie & TV Awards on June 18. I'm glad she's relevant outside WWE.

WWE's digital production team has moved to a new home in Connecticut. Titan Towers is getting crowded!

Ace Romero is believed to be OK after his recent Impact/HOH match was stopped early.

House of Hardcore's Saturday event will be preceded by a fan convention featuring Mark Henry, Bret Hart, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Jimmy Hart, and Tugboat among others.

Velveteen Dream posted Instagram stories suggesting WWE's performers are responsible for WWE not being entertaining, rather than the creative direction. I don't think many people are going to agree with his viewpoint there. Unless this is some kind of work, he's probably going to get heat from his coworkers, too.

AEW's new team is The Dark Order, formerly the Super Smash Bros. The team changed names due to Nintendo owning the rights to the other name. That's definitely a more serious name.

Fyter Fest has added Hangman Page vs. MJF vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Jungle Boy. That's kind of a curious mix, since it looked like three faces ganging up on MJF at Double or Nothing. We'll see how AEW books it.

Bull Nakano is conducting a women's wrestling seminar on August 9 in Ontario. That's a really special opportunity.

Bayley had a special shirt for wrestling in her hometown at Raw.

NXT has announced dates for:
- July 25 in South Carolina
- July 26 and July 27 in Atlanta
- July 28 in North Carolina

Best in the World has added Silas Young vs. Jonathan Gresham in a Pure Rules match. They haven't done one of those in a while; it could be interesting.

NXT's Arturo Ruas will face Josh Briggs at EVOLVE 129 and Anthony Henry at EVOLVE 130.

Ric Flair is being sued for defamation due to recent statements made about an ex-manager.

At Smackdown Live's live events this weekend:
- Apollo Crews and Chad Gable teamed in losses to Daniel Bryan and Rowan, so Crews and Gable were at least tried out as a team. We'll see if it becomes a more regular pairing.
- Lars Sullivan made his live event debut, defeating Matt Hardy
- Dolph Ziggler worked his first live event since January 20, losing to Kofi Kingston. I'm curious how long Dolph's around.

After Raw, Becky Lynch defended the Raw Women's Championship against Lacey Evans.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. None! I only read recaps of podcasts when something key happens. There are way too many to comb through for newsworthy excerpts.

2. I imagine it's something like how live events are put together.

3. I'd like more special panels and such, but I think most people go there for meet-and-greets and the like. If the current AXXESS model works, I don't see any reason to change it much.

4. I concur. Unless NXT becomes as important as Raw and Smackdown Live, I don't think AEW has changed things that much.

More wrestling tomorrow.
