Read on for my thoughts on last night's Bleacher Report special event.

- Friends vs. Kazarian/Sky vs. Party:
Oh joy flashy moves.

I guess the calling card of AEW is going to be fast-paced tag matches with a lot of spots.

Fun for that style of match.

- Post-match:
Kind of silly to have randos in the ring for five seconds, but I guess that's Dark Order's thing.

- Elite segment:
This is so terrible. If WWE booked this, these same fans would bury it.

- Leva/Avalon/Allie:
This is BAD. Someone who's not a mark for The Elite needs to get on Creative and straighten this company out.

- Allie vs. Leva:
Somebody save this show.

And now someone's doing a Pedigree. This is everyone's worst fears about The Elite coming to fruition.

Allie was solid, but I hope this approach is changed before they hit TNT. Another thing people would have buried WWE for doing.

- Omega backstage:
It must be great to have the kind of money the Khans have to blow on stuff like this.

- Nakazawa promo:
Laaaaame.

- Nakazawa vs. Jebailey:
This is absolutely terrible. If this is the best chance for competition WWE has, the business is in trouble.

This thong stuff is bad. I guess they're seeing how much AEW marks are willing to sit through.

Thank God that's over.

-- Fyter Fest:
- CIMA vs. Daniels:
Good start.

Wow. This is solid.

Fine for the time it had.

- Post-match:
Cool enough.

- Yuka vs. Riho vs. Nyla:
I like Nyla's power here.

OK that toss of Yuka on Riho leading to cover was pretty funny.

Wowww. Nyla can move.

This is pretty impressive.

Mostly good.

- Post-match:
Hahahah what the fuck is this booking.

- MJF promo:
The standard for being a heel for the "smark" audience is really low.

- MJF vs. Page vs. J. Boy vs. Havoc:
I like MJF's strategy here. This promotion badly needs someone who's not focused on workrate.

Good action here.

Fun Tower of Doom spot.

I like the MJF/Page stuff.

Wow. Pretty solid.

- Cody vs. Allin:
I like this so far.

This is a nice contrast from the high-flying we saw earlier.

Both men are giving a lot here.

This definitely puts Darby on the map.

That was clever!

- Post-match:
Cody getting one of this friends over again.

Cody's vision for wrestling is going back to unprotected chair shots and blood. Great.

So are we supposed to hate MJF or what?

We'll see where this leads.

- Omega/Bucks vs. Kid/Bros:
Yeah it's the standard Omega/Bucks tag team thing.

As always, a lot of fun, innovative, athletic spots.

I don't really have anything to add. If spectacle's your thing, this has plenty of it.

Christ that Spanish Fly spot.

Well there you go. Pretty impressive. It made sense to beat the guy who's not under contract and not set to be that we know of.

- Moxley vs. Janela:
Clever way to set up this match being unsanctioned. I was wondering how they'd get there.

This is pretty fun!

Oh. Wow. Interesting use of the leg.

Moxley's pleased to be back mutilating people.

This is pretty fun.

I like this! Definitely not something you see a lot of.

Both men delivering in this one.

OOOOUUUCCCCCCHHHHHHH that thumbtacks to the feet spot.

I was sold on that. Good stuff.

- Post-match:
Good followup to DON.

I'm glad there was a payoff to the stupid music stuff.

I liked that a lot. Omega vs. Moxley could be a lot of fun.
