WCW alum has surgery, Japanese legend health issues, Tajiri working AJPW, assorted wrestling press, new trademarks, more ROH tournament entrants, upcoming matches, Jericho touring, Interviews with Tegan/Lita/Truth, Hardy meets old friends, TNA special on AXS, Rodman's wrestling run profiled, Backstage audience, NXT backstage names, unfortunate Teddy Hart update, and Questions on WWE booking Goldberg, AJ vs. Taker, and AEW refereeing

Scott Norton has undergone knee replacement surgery. I hope that's helpful for him.

The original Tiger Mask is dealing with walking difficulties. Sad to hear.

Tajiri has been added to All Japan's Champion Carnival. Cool to see him still in action.

Kevin Owens met with a youth hockey team before a New York game.

WWE is doing a meet and greet contest for their UK tour.

Cody and Brandi Rhodes visited Planned Pethood International before Dynamite. Atlas Security donated $3000 to the organization.

C.M. Punk has finished shooting a new horror movie "Jakob's Wife."

NJPW's Yuji Nagata has been added to ROH's Pure Championship tournament. That's a pretty cool addition.

ROH has added Alex Gracia to their women's championship tournament.

Thunder Rosa has trademarked that ring name.

Smackdown has added:
- Bayley and Sasha Banks vs. Naomi and Lacey Evans
- A tag team gauntlet match with the winning team entering Elimination Chamber last.

Chris Jericho has trademarked "Painmaker Posse."

Fozzy has announced touring in April, May, July, and August. That would explain Chris Jericho's 60 days off tease on Dynamite. I'm very curious how the show will do with him absent.

Billy Gunn has trademarked "The Gunn Show." I'm curious if he and Austin will use that as a team name.

Mascarita Dorada, formerly El Torito, is working MLW's April 18 event.

WWE has trademarked "LRLR," "Left Right Left Right" and "LEFTRIGHTLEFTRIGHT" for merchandise purposes in relation to the YouTube gaming channel.

Tegan Nox spoke to Sports Illustrated before NXT.

Matt Hardy featured The Young Bucks in a "Free The Delete" video, fueling further speculation of him going to AEW. I am really not looking forward to a rehash of something we saw plenty of years ago.

Impact will air a "TNA" highlight special on AXS March 31 following Impact. That's a pretty cool idea.

Dennis Rodman will be on WWE Untold on March 22. Wow. That's definitely a unique idea.

WWE Backstage drew 18,000 viewers this week. Last week the show didn't even rank in the top 150. It's time to seriously reconsider that show's future.

MJF got press for giving a young fan the middle finger. The target audience is eating his antics up. We'll see if he can sustain it.

Lita discussed her Kickstarter project.

R-Truth promoted WrestleMania on HOT 97.

The IIconics were backstage at NXT. They could REALLY use a reboot, so maybe that's coming.

Before NXT:
- Damian Priest beat a local competitor
- Joaquin Wilde, Jorge Bolly, and Raul Mendoza defeated Kushida, Tyler Breeze, and Tehuti Miles

OVW has signed a distribution deal with syndicated network Youtoo America to show their current show in additional nationwide markets. That's a good move to expand the company's reach.

Teddy Hart has been arrested for violating his house arrest, putting him back in jail. Very sad to see things going this way for him after his MLW run.

NXT has announced:
- Keith Lee vs. Cameron Grimes for the North American Championship
- The Broserweights vs. Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish for the Tag Team Championship

Dynamite has announced:
- Cody vs. Ortiz
- Death Triangle (Pac and the Lucha Brothers) vs. Best Friends and Orange Cassidy
- MJF, The Butcher, and The Blade vs. Jurassic Express

Braun Strowman, EC3, and Drake Maverick will do a live show WrestleMania weekend to help pediatric cancer patients. Glad to see them helping out like that.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. As always, WWE is booking for the larger casual audience that someone like Goldberg appeals to. Goldberg didn't have a long run at the top, but he did have a profitable one, and he's continued to be popular in the years sense. Goldberg got where he was by being in quick, impactful matches, so that's what he's booked in now. It also protects him from being "exposed" in longer matches.

2. I don't really see it as a dream match. At this point it's a way for Undertaker to have a younger, more mobile talent "take care of him" in the ring to get a good enough match to preserve the man's legacy. It's not a bad idea in that regard.

3. I fully expect the match to be quick and explosive, so there won't be a lot of time for booing. He and Roman are going to get in there, do some big moves, have a couple of kickouts, then (presumably) crown a new champion.

4. a. Nostalgia keeps coming back! And yes, AEW is doing some Attitude Era elements for sure.

4. b. The world where he's trying to make WrestleMania as big of a spectacle as possible, including possibly convincing ESPN+ to air it. Goldberg is known by more people than The Fiend.

5. AEW generally takes a pretty lax approach to refereeing in favor of more spectacles. You're not supposed to take it too seriously; you're just supposed to ooh and ahh at the cool moves.

More wrestling tomorrow.
