Chris Jericho's second book "Undisputed" was released today. It picks up where his first book left off and has received positive reviews.

The Rock is now listed on WWE.com's Alumni section as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. It's not all that surprising that he keeps his real name there, since as far as I know he's not abandoning his acting career. In fact, he's scheduled to shoot a movie this fall.

Former WWE Creative Team member Dave Lagana talks about Rock's return at this link, including telling about working with The Rock. Like this page, that website saw a sizable boost in traffic with the big comeback.

Next up, PWInsider.com questions, starting with the ever-popular topic of former WWE wrestlers in TNA.

As always for me, it's a case of whether the talent is good and how they're used moreso than them being ex-WWE wrestlers. I think D'Angelo Dinero could be the best current example of an ex-WWE guy doing better in TNA. The other names mentioned (Anderson, Jeff Hardy, RVD, and Angle) had already been used to a good extent by WWE and name value was a big factor in their signings. Anderson I still don't see as doing much better in TNA, because there's less competition to be a good main event worker.

Jeff Hardy still has some gas in the tank, but his main event runs in WWE were definitely better than his current direction. Being in the ring with Triple H, Undertaker, Edge, and C.M. Punk does better than facing people who never broke to the next level in WWE. RVD also has some gas in the tank, but we've seen him do just about everything in his career. Kurt Angle's still a great worker and is improving TNA. Their roster needs the elevation more so I say he's helping them more than he was WWE as well.

Next, someone asks about wrestlers overcoming bad gimmicks. The most famous example is Dusty Rhodes wearing polka dots by far. The Undertaker character could potentially have been cheesy and/or bad but it's been done very well too. Goldust also comes to mind.

Another popular subject for questions: Ted DiBiase, Jr.'s WWE push. I think they might eventually give him another look as a potential main eventer. He's only 28 after all. I like him well enough, but not as much as some other "blue chippers" in WWE. I don't think he'll be "buried" forever or released soon with that last name.

About the current General Managers: Teddy Long is good at his job because they book him to stay out of the way of most storylines. He's not a big talker, but he doesn't have to be. He's just there to move the story along. And you have to think that the Anonymous Raw GM will be ended one way or another at some point. (S)he could just end up being fired and replaced with someone else, without anyone knowing who (s)he was. Having Cole as GM isn't a good idea in my eyes because he's also commentator. It would seem like that every time someone lost or had a grievance, they'd bug him and he'd have to constantly mention his place in the storylines on commentary. I think it could be done, but I'm a little weary of it. And no, it doesn't "have to be" Cole. Jerry Lawler would surely notice him emailing the computer (or whatever) and (s)he's made decisions that Cole doesn't like in the past.

I don't really think that WWE's going to remove Lawler from commentary after this angle. There's been no indication of that being their intention.

In other news, the Urban Wrestling Federation has a new press release out. I'm curious as to how this works out.

WWE has put part of its new Big Show DVD on NetFlix, the first wrestling content they've streamed there.

An indy talent by the name of "Niya" worked a dark match at Impact. Not much else is known about her.

A trainee at the Team Taz Dojo puts over his "finishing" there here. It's a good read.

Former TNA TV Champion Douglas Williams was injured in a match with Hernandez taped for Impact. TNA stopped the match for him to be evaluated. He is not expected to miss any ring time from this.

Isis The Amazon, who was scheduled to be on NXT Season 3 as Aloisia, is getting a tryout in TNA. I'm kind of split on that one. I'll have to wait to see what she can do.

Raw on Monday night did a disappointing 3.1 rating. The segment with The Rock brought in a large number of viewers, but it was only for one quarter-hour. Had fans known about his appearance in advance, the rating would have been noticeably higher.

That's all for today's news. More tomorrow.
