Jericho interviews, Tough Enough begins filming, Questions on Brent Albright/Gunner Scott, PPVs not on Sunday, Rock in the Hall, theoretical Mania matches, and title rematches, news on The Rock and ratings, Jeff Hardy legal updates, McCool injured, and more added to Sunday's PPV

Here's today's news:  Chris Jericho has another interview promoting the release of his second book. He mentions that he's not really off, just doing other things". He isn't sure that he'll return to WWE, but is "sure when the time is right things will work out again".

WWE Tough Enough has begun filming near Venice, CA. Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta took part in the tapings.

The first of today's questions on PWInsider.com asks about Brent Albright, who briefly worked in WWE as Gunner Scott. They don't see WWE re-hiring him. I was always kind of curious as to what more they could get out of him.

Here's one I actually didn't know: Summerslam was on Mondays from 1998-1994 (before Raw came into existence). The idea was that it didn't matter that it was a "school night" because it was summer. Any time that WWE has tried doing a PPV on a day other than Sunday in the last 10 years (Taboo Tuesday), it hasn't done as well as a Sunday version.

Next up, will The Rock go into the Hall of Fame next year in Miami?

It seems like such a natural and obvious fit that WWE would at least give try to make that happen.

Someone has a a suggestion for WrestleMania: Randy Orton vs. C.M. Punk vs. John Cena, and The Miz vs. John Morrison for the WWE Title. I like it on one level, but I don't know if I'd be willing to take the risk of having two fairly new main eventers in Miz Vs. Morrison headlining the biggest show of the year. I'd probably have Orton vs. Punk one-on-one, but I can see how Cena would fit in there. I think Cena would be better used against someone else, though. Particularly to elevate a younger, newer star or bring interest to a match-up that people normally wouldn't be as interested in.

Finally, no, no wrestler has a real "rematch clause" in his or her contract. Though creative control would be pretty similar if they wanted to use it to that effect. Whoever came up with the "rematch clause" story idea saved writers a lot of effort in coming up with reasons to continue feuds, that's for sure!

The Rock's appearance boosted that quarter-hour to 20% higher than the previous one for a total of 5.7 million viewers. Pretty big deal.

Stop me if you've heard this one. Jeff Hardy's case was continued. Again. This time to March 16. Jeff Hardy's attorney was occupied with another client's case at the time. You'd think this would have been figured out before today? Hardy is still expected to plead guilty.

Update: It has also been reported that Hardy's attorney became ill and that's (one of) the reason(s) it was once more delayed.

Chris Jericho has another interview where he talks about TNA and a WWE return. TNA wrestlers should take his words to heart.

Michelle McCool was wearing a cast on her foot at Smackdown, and is said to have suffered a broken toe. No word on her missing any time.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston has been added to the Elimination Chamber PPV, which as of 4 days before the show only has 4 matches. I really wish WWE treated PPVs as a bigger deal. How do they expect us to pay for something they don't treat as importantly as they should?

That's all of today's news. More tomorrow.
