Raw notes, HHH's shoulder rehab, Sting-TNA update, more on the UWF, Questions on 2/21/11, WWE Divas, Lacey Von Erich, Stone Cold, and Eli Cottonwood, Raw dark match, guest at TNA house show, Packers confirmed for Smackdown, Raw rating

C.M. Punk legitimately broke his nose on Raw. No word on if he'll miss any ringtime.

Update: This occurred when Orton accidentally headbutted Punk when he lunged away from Nexus into him.

Dustin Rhodes was backstage, but isn't expected to return any time soon.

Nunzio was the referee for a dark match.

T-Nation.com has a look at working out during shoulder rehabilitation, detailing a process used with Triple H among other athletes. The article notes that he injured his shoulder during filming.

Sting has been removed from the roster page of the TNA website. This has been taken as an indication that the two sides are done for the time being. Some say that his contract has expired as well.

The Urban Wrestling Federation is now seeking talent for their debut PPV taping later this year. They want "Extreme style urban wrestlers". More info here.

After the break, PWInsider.com's daily questions.

Someone wants to know how people connected the recent 2/21/11 videos with Sting, suggesting that it could be because they're in California that night, but that he/she didn't get the connection. With all the rumors of him thinking of going to WWE and WrestleMania/the Hall of Fame being in WCW's home base of Atlanta, people saw a trenchcoat and immediately made that connection. It's not much of a stretch. I have heard the rumor that years ago he turned down a run in WWE on moral grounds, but I don't know if that still applies since they're more tame now.

Questioner #2 wants to know if we're getting a push of the Divas division given how it's seeing more attention lately. I think we are to some extent but I'm not ready to say that it's looking to be as strong as it used to be. It seems like every once in a while they throw it a bone, but don't give it a sustained push. Part 2 of the question asks if there was ever interest in Taylor Wilde or Madison Rayne. Taylor Wilde worked in WWE developmental for a while, but never became a part of the main roster. I haven't read about any interest in Rayne in the past and nothing on either in the present day. Wilde retired over the weekend.

Lacey Von Erich isn't wrestling anymore, although she was in some kind of umm.... fetish video about wrestling. At least I think that's what it's supposed to be. Other than that I haven't heard of anything. She's in LA now.

I don't think Stone Cold will do any training on Tough Enough, but will surely give advice. He was a very strong worker as far as ring psychology goes. As time went on, persona became more important and he went more "through the motions". I'm going to get crap for this, but John Cena is similar in that he doesn't need to wrestle a 5-star match because the crowd is looking for that sequence of moves to pop for.

Eli Cottonwood is back in FCW, like everyone else who didn't go to TV once NXT was over (except for Jamie Keyes, who no longer works for WWE).

Percy Watson beat Zack Ryder in a dark match before Raw.

Percy Pringle, better known as Paul Bearer was visiting friends at a recent TNA house show. This is likely just a visit, though he did work there in the past.

Members of the Green Bay Packers have been confirmed for an appearance at the Smackdown taping, where they will be presented with replica championships in front of the home town crowd. That should be a good business move for them.

Finally, Raw got a 3.31 in the ratings this week. That's just below 5 million viewers. Not bad at all. I hope it stays in this general range on the road to WrestleMania.

That's it for today. More news at the end of Wednesday!
