Queries on Petey Williams and Tajiri, What happened during and after Raw, Questions on Hogan vs. Piper, Miz, Rashad Cameron, McGuinness, and Orton, Interview with Animal/Batista, names advertised for Smackdown, Aries update, Raw rating, Hart training, and advertised dates for Jericho and Lesnar

First up, some queries:
1. Petey Williams still works the indies, including Lucha Libre USA. If he weren't tied up there, I could see TNA being interested in him given their recent revival of interest in the X-Division.

2. Tajiri runs his own promotion in Japan now, so I don't think we'll see him back in WWE any time soon. There's always the rumor that he'll come back for the proposed Cruiserweight show, but it's just speculation at this point.

During a commercial break for Raw (after the mixed tag), The Miz called for a boss to complain to. This led to HHH appearing and giving him a Pedigree. How that does anything for the future of the business is beyond me.

After Raw, John Cena beat Big Show and Tensai. John Laurinaitis made an appearance, too.

Everything else is after the break!
For my take on PWInsider.com's questions:
1. Hogan had creative control throughout his entire WCW run, so it's a little surprising he ever lost at all. Maybe he had enough respect for Piper to let him get the win?

2. They reported previously that there were concerns that his work wasn't as good as it was back when he was champion, and that his girlfriend Maryse's comments have gotten him heat. Take their change of story now for what you will.

3. Pretty neat that someone worked both major promotions in the same week.

4. I've heard the same story, and don't want to jump to conclusions on what those issues were. I seem to remember his history of concussions being brought up, but I could be remembering wrong. As for a WWE run, it would all depend on how they used him. I'd hope they wouldn't try to push him to the moon out of the gate like TNA did.

5. That'd be a pretty big push for those three, and I don't think WWE's quite ready to push any of them THAT hard. I think I'd rather see him feud with Ziggler or Rhodes since they're pretty close to that next level.

Road Warrior Animal talked about his son potentially becoming a wrestler and not losing matches.

Rey Mysterio and Triple H are both advertised for Smackdown, though as always it could be off-screen.

Batista shot down coming back to WWE this year. I don't think that really had a chance anyway.

Austin Aries has signed a longer-term deal with TNA. GOOD. It'd be a shame for them to lose him.

Raw did a 3.4.

Bret Hart will be doing a training seminar in Nashville.

Chris Jericho is not advertised for any WWE dates past Summerslam, meaning he'll be on the road with Fozzy for their concerts. He's stayed longer than he originally planned to.

Brock Lesnar is advertised for the Raw after Summerslam.

More news tomorrow!
