Read on for my segment-by-segment thoughts on Destination X.
Insane opening contest. Everyone went all out to impress the crowd.
Kash vs. Andrews was a nice change of pace. Kash is invaluable to the X-Division and they're really making Andrews someone to watch.
Great promo by Joe. He can really deliver sometimes.
Williams vs. King was pretty incredible. Williams is a true mat technician and King has pretty much all the tools to make it in TNA.
"Meh" Daniels promo. The shtick is really old at this point. How many years has he feuded with Styles now?
Dutt vs. Cameron was pretty nice, too. Everyone's been solid in the ring tonight.
Touching promo from Sorensen that really set the stage for his feud with Ion.
Pretty amazing stuff from Ion and Casanova. I'm starting to change my mind on the X-Division.
Fine backstage segment to set up later matches.
Joe vs. Angle was off the charts, as a match with them usually is. Angle still putting on this level of competition is unreal. I don't know how he does it.
Styles and Daniels damn near killed each other like everyone else tonight. This is getting pretty scary.
Pretty good promo by Aries. He's really growing into a superstar.
Another great bumpfest in Ultimate X. I hope Dutt is ok and that some of these guys in the tournament get contracts.
Good promo by Ion. Glad he's back in the mix.
BIG main event. Very surprised that Aries won. Both guys put on a hell of a show and it'll be interesting to see where things go from here with the new champion.
