TNA Destination X Preview

Read on for how I'd book Destination X.

I don't know enough about some of the new X-Division competitors to know what would be the best combination to put in Ultimate X, so I'd leave that up to the agents. The X-Division tournament would entirely be based on who they think should be signed. If they like Rashad Cameron, he'd win a match. If they don't think Flip Casanova is "ready", he wouldn't earn a spot.

Kenny King would be my pick to win Ultimate X, unless there's someone who's just totally "must have" other than him. His first feud would be with Kid Kash, who would play the role of angry veteran trying to break in the new guy who's in "his" company.

Samoa Joe beats Kurt Angle to build Joe up. Angle's not going to be around forever, so they need to use him to elevate the careers of the younger superstars who aren't (as far as I know) thinking of retiring anytime soon.

AJ Styles beats Daniels clean and their terrible storyline finally ends. Daniels then feuds with Kazarian and Styles sets his sights on the TNA Title.

Roode retains, but Aries makes him earn it. In a hard-fought match, Aries avoids being hit with the TNA Title but not a beer bottle. Rematch next month.

Tonight I'll have coverage of the real deal.
