Ric Flair's TNA no-compete clause will soon be up if it isn't
already. There've been online suggestions for him to manage Ziggler.
That'd be kind of cool.
There are ramblings of another season of Tough Enough. That might be a good idea for the WWE Network.
Bret Hart talked about C.M. Punk, Daniel Bryan, and more.
The identity of "Harold" in the anger management skits is Scorpio Sky, who TNA used recently under the name Mason Andrews.
Everything else from 8/27 is after the break!
Booker T. talked about tag teams in WWE and more.
For the 8/27 PWInsider.com questions:
1.
WWE has some serious problems. They get petty quickly. If TNA was a
strong #2 and talent could jump ship when treated badly, the whole
business would be better.
2. I'd love that! I don't know if it will happen, but it would
make sense from a storyline perspective. Of course, I'd be remiss if I
didn't note that it'd be using 3 part-time names as the focal points of
the company.
3. The commentary team is stuck doing what Vince wants, so unless
they went off-script I don't think things would be much better. I'd
love Heyman back on commentary, but he'd be calling things the way WWE
calls things in 2012, not 2001.
4. I'm not an expert in things like this, so I''ll just defer to their answer.
5. It's not just the PG rating. They don't want to do anything
that would rustle sponsors' or political opponents' jimmies. Just be
glad they only have one show that's TV G (for now).
More news to come later tonight!
