Roman Reigns, the former Leakee, defeated Heath Slater over the weekend of 9/8 on Smackdown live events.
Here's another post-WWE Tyler Reks interview.
Kane talked in India.
For my take on the 9/9 PWInsider.com questions:
1. They pretty much nailed it. He doesn't need to be anywhere close to the title. Ditto for Brock, HHH, and Undertaker. He's already the main event guy, and it'd be better if they used the title to elevate people into becoming bigger stars.
Everything else from 9/9 is after the break!
Nothing to add to 2. They want her permission, and I don't see her changing her mind anytime soon.
3. It'd be pretty cool, but as they mentioned Chyna is a big problem. They probably don't want to put out risque material these days anyway.
4. I respect the hell out of Devon, but I don't see him as a top guy and don't think TNA should put that much effort into a team of guys near the end of their careers. Aces and 8s, regardless of who the leader is, should be a long-term tool to build some new TNA talent (some of whom WWE dropped the ball on).
5. Because Piper can work a crowd better than (almost?) anyone. He's definitely up there if he isn't the best.
More news after the 9/10 Raw.
