Drew McIntyre has undergone wrist surgery and will likely miss ring-time. It's not like WWE was taking advantage of him anyway.

Not much to add to 1, as I can certainly see the complaint.
Nothing to add to 2. They have to be careful with how they use him.
3. WWE can fire someone any time they want to. Why would Orton agree to be part of such a crazy scheme in the first place? He could get paid while he's recovering!
4. How awesome would that be? I don't know if it would ever happen, given that there's animosity between the two sides over the lawsuit, but I'd like to see it if something bad happened here.
5. I think if they were going to give them the titles, they would have at least hinted that they were going that route (not having them lose the title match clean). It's still possible, but it looks like they might not be going in that direction. At any rate, they seem to be pushing the whole division instead of just PTP.
