Here are highlights from a recent Chris Jericho interview. Very insightful from one of the smartest men in wrestling.
Devon's TNA contract has expired. He was the reigning TV Champion. They really blew it on his whole situation. They might as well drop the TV Title now. This is why you keep an eye on your talents' contracts!
For my take on the 8/31 PWInsider.com questions:
1. I seem to remember there also being an issue about being separated from her boyfriend (husband?) who was also to be wrestling. It was something. I can't think of any other time where someone's quit right after debuting.
2. I'm a little surprised that Ray stayed with Devon leaving, but he was being used better so it makes sense.

3. This is what happens when you build things up and make them important, as well as doing long-term angles (sometimes).
4. There's still some friendliness between the two sides at least with NASCAR racers guest hosting, so I don't see why not if the right opportunity came along.
5. Given how PG and corporate-friendly they are, and John Cena being the embodiment of that, it would indeed be a great shock.
