Ex-Knockout arrested, What Happened After Raw, Jarrett-TNA update, more on TNA moving, Styles contract update, NFL visitors in TNA, lolShopTNA, Interviews with Miz/JR/Booker, WWE appearances, Hogan contract status, Raw audience and Questions on the Wyatts as a comedy act, the HHH/Bryan angle, JR in TNA and booking Sandow

Recently released TNA Knockout SoCal Val was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. She posted bail, but was charged with failing to yield to oncoming traffic when making a left turn. That's very dangerous behavior and hopefully she learned something from her punishment.

There was no post-Raw dark match. The babyface celebration continued for Bryan and those who helped him out. The angle seems to be working to get crowd support for Bryan. I like it.

Jeff Jarrett was backstage at the most recent Impact tapings. He attended the production meeting and worked in a role similar to that of an agent. He could be going back to being involved with Impact on a more regular basis. Maybe this is training for a post-Bischoff and Hogan TNA? The company could definitely use a shake-up.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
One potential market for a more permanent home for Impact is Las Vegas, but there are a lot of expenses involved and TNA was disappointed with the turnout the last time there was a taping there. The old "Asylum" in Nashville, where TNA taped shows in its early days, is also a possibility. I was under the impression that was a really small venue. I'm worried about TNA after these cost-cutting measures.

AJ Styles' contract extension keeps him in TNA through the end of the year. I can definitely see a C.M. Punk situation happening where he becomes a big deal and signs on at the last minute. In some ways, Styles' status is a metaphor for the current state of TNA. Do they stick with their roots (Styles, Impact in one place) or do they try to be something else (Hogan/Bischoff in charge, Impact on the road).

A number of St. Louis Rams visited at the most recent Impact taping. Were they asking for directions or something?

TNA has released new T-shirts for Jeff Hardy and Manik. You know who's never had a T-shirt? Recent TNA World Champion Chris Sabin. I think that says all you need to say about how much value they see in him (despite the viewership bump when he was Champ - I'm sure a lot of that credit went to Bully Ray).

The Miz being in Cleveland for Raw was profiled. The Miz reads Bleacher Report? I wonder what he thinks of the wrestling columns.

Brodus Clay and Hornswoggle read to children at an elementary school. I really hope someone makes macros out of that picture.

The Miz had a signing at the grand opening of Indiana National Guard Storefront in Avon, Ind. I wonder how many times he said "Hoo-rah!"?

Hulk Hogan's TNA contract is said to be up in a few weeks. Which hopefully means the long nightmare will finally be over. They can write him off with Bully Ray giving him a huge beating (obviously they have to be careful since they're dealing with a 60-year-old man), with AJ looking for revenge at BFG. He does get a lot of publicity for TNA, but that hasn't really translated to an increase in business.

Jim Ross was interviewed about leaving WWE. He didn't go into much detail. Apparently one of the rules of his departure is not being able to badmouth WWE. They really put the screws to him, no?

Booker T. talked before Summerslam. Pretty good insight from the former FIVE-TIME. FIVE-TIME. FIVE-TIME. FIVE-TIME. FIIIIIIIIIIIIVE-TIME. WCW Champion. Being the top guy is definitely grating. Another throwing of TNA under the bus. I like that Sam Roberts is incredibly knowledgeable, yet doesn't beat anyone over the head with that fact.

Raw jumped up to 4.01 million viewers this week. Hopefully that's a sign the Bryan storyline is working.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I don't see how they can be at the same level as taking out Kane if they're a comedy act.

2. How do you know that WWE doesn't think we know about that storyline? "Smarks" make too many assumptions.

3. Ryback in HHH's faction could work, though we see now that's not the direction they're going in. And I can definitely see HHH vs. Bryan headlining Mania if they have that much confidence in it. It would definitely be a big moment for Bryan to beat HHH at a milestone WrestleMania.

4. This is definitely something of a "smark" pipe dream, but it's one I'd like to see play out. JR's been around the block and held a multitude of jobs in THIS BUSINESS, for multiple companies even. He's definitely qualified to have an executive position in TNA. Will it actually happen? I wouldn't hold my breath.

5. I can see the "setting up future contenders" argument, but maybe they need to set up the future contender who has the MITB briefcase? It seems more like they're hurting Sandow than building his opposition.

More wrestling tomorrow.
