What Happened After Raw, Legend autobiography, ex-WWE/TNA star retiring, WWE and TNA promotion, Briscoes update, former X-Division Champion returning, Interviews with Kim/Vickie/Striker/Heyman, Fandango in NXT, Smackdown audience, Shane update, Christian hurt again, HHH explains THIS BUSINESS, TNA live events update, Rhodes angle continues, Elimination Chamber location, and Questions on AJ Styles in WWE, Tensai, "5-star matches", the shoot on the "Total Divas", and Being A STAR

After Raw, Daniel Bryan was carried out by referees. Then, C.M. Punk beat Curtis Axel in a no-DQ match. Yeah, it's good to have a break from Cena.

An autobiography for Bobby Eaton is underway. A lot of people want to read that.

Former WWE and TNA dwarf performer Short Sleeve Sampson is going on a farewell retirement tour. He's played miniature versions of Kurt Angle and The Undertaker. Would a Mini Khali be regular size?

Vickie Guerrero paid tribute to her late husband after appearing in the city where he passed away. She's not the only one who misses having him around. Imagine Guerrero vs. Punk or Bryan.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

The Miz promoted WWE's live events in the United Arab Emirates. This is one reason WWE keeps him around.

Here's a piece on Monday's Raw from Iowa. WWE has changed a good deal from 2010.

Jay Briscoe will be appearing at an ROH event on 9/20 to at least do some sort of angle involving the ROH Championship. He and his brother are still contractually free agents. I'm a little surprised that WWE hasn't made any kind of offer to them, though it could be a PR disaster to pick them up.

Zema Ion will be returning to the ring this weekend for TNA. I had kind of forgotten that he was employed.

Gail Kim talked about how her marriage affects her career. Gail's a pretty tough chick.

Fandango will appear at the 9/12 NXT taping in Winter Park, FL. It's like he's never going to escape WWE developmental.

Sam Roberts interviewed Vickie Guerrero ahead of Summerslam. She's been involved in a number of big angles for sure. I can only imagine some of the tweets that wrestlers get. I remember the promo with Cena where she was so booed that she didn't talk. That's great heat. Fans followed her home!!?? Holy #&$@!!!

Matt Striker talked about his work in WWE and tips for commentary. Pretty cool stuff. I always liked the details he added to backstories and such, though it does need to be relevant to the current angle for a lot of fans to care.

Smackdown's audience was up to 2.79 million this week, the highest mark for the show since April. The angle with HHH, Bryan, etc. is pretty great for THIS BUSINESS.

To stop rumors before they get too far, even though Shane McMahon stepped down as CEO of YOU on Demand, he is still the Chairman and an important executive. I don't see this meaning that he's returning to WWE (or wrestling in general, or MMA... you get the idea).

Christian was concussed on the 8/26 Raw, and there is no timetable for his return at this time. He will undergo tests shortly. That sucks. He just came back!

Triple H commented on the controversy about his character being such a mean bully on TV. He's such a jerk. My jimmies are rustled.

Paul Heyman talked about WWE 2K14, who could have been "Paul Heyman guys" and more. He's always such a great read. It would be great to see Lesnar hit the F5 on Hogan in 2013, especially if that means we never see the Hulkster again.

A live event set for this Friday is advertising Bully Ray vs. AJ Styles for the TNA Championship. I imagine that will be changed, as per the stipulation set up where Styles can't challenge for the Title until BFG. I wonder if we'll ever see Styles as TNA Champion again.

Speaking of TNA live events, the 9/13 show in Kansas City, MO has been canceled. If you haven't heard, TNA's business isn't exactly booming right now. This is concerning.

WWE.com interviewed Goldust and Dusty Rhodes about Cody Rhodes' "firing". Cody issued a statement on Twitter. Very good emotion there from everyone. This angle could be a lot of fun, and hopefully will elevate the formerly Dashing one.

Elimination Chamber 2014 will be held on 2/23 in Minneapolis, MN. That's the last WWE PPV before WM30.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Honestly, even if there wasn't the "owning the name" thing, they already have a tremendously popular AJ on the roster. I don't see them wanting to use that name again for someone else. And let's not kid ourselves here. More people knew Jericho from WCW in '99 than would know AJ Styles from TNA in 2013.

2. Considering his previous run involved him being the Hip Hop Hippo, I don't see how he'd be too surprised at what his character has become.

3. I think it's really that simple. He preferred those matches to today's matches.

4. I don't mind them being self-aware and having heel characters play off of real fan frustration. If anything, that makes things more interesting!

5. Sometimes I get the feeling that people just SAY that they're a fan for a long time to attempt to fool us into thinking that they're not preteens or neckbeards who haven't been watching all that long. I do wonder what this person's been watching as to where they haven't seen this kind of thing before.

More wrestling tomorrow.
