Hall of Famer seeks attention, ex-WWE star returns as trainer, Nash shoots on TNA, Impact preview, JR update, Impact audience, Taker update and Questions on Dixie's heel turn, the WWEPC, revisionist history and Low Ki

Tammy "Sunny" Sytch made up a story about being mugged in order to get wrestling news media to report on it. Because that's the kind of world we live in.

Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore will soon return to WWE as a trainer in the Performance Center. He's renowned for his wrestling ability and was able to get his character over huge, so I think that's a good move. There could be more trainers being hired soon as well. They're really committed to making the Performance Center work.

Kevin Nash made a series of anti-TNA tweets. At this point, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Set for next week's Impact:
-Hulk Hogan will address the Dixie Carter situation, which will hopefully lead to his TNA tenure coming to an end. His contract's reportedly up soon.
-Manik vs. Chris Sabin for the X-Division Championship. Meh. I don't see either star going much of anywhere any time soon.
-Eric Young, Joseph Park and ODB vs. Robbie E, Jessie Godderz and a Knockout of their choice. Could this be the debut of Lei'D Tapa? She's working live events.

Jim Ross worked a previously-scheduled appearance with Topps Cards in conjunction with WWE. He is by no means back in the WWE fold.

Impact's audience this week was 1.33 million, down a bit from last week's big No Surrender show. I'll be VERY interested to see how ratings go in the months to come as they "shuffle the deck" and presumably wrap up MEM vs. Aces and Eights as well as Bully Ray's run as Champion.

The Undertaker is (perhaps unsurprisingly) on the promotional material for WrestleMania 30. As always, the card is subject to change and this is pending him being in shape to compete. I wouldn't assume he's retiring at the show, though of course it's a milestone event.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Surely this angle can't be any worse than Hogan/MEM vs. Bully/Aces and Eights. I'm sure TNA will take that as a challenge, though.

2. Given all of the signings HHH has made from the indie scene, I don't think he meant WWE's going to only hire talents with no wrestling experience.

Nothing to add to 3.

4. WWE shapes history as they see fit at times. That's about the best answer I can give.

5. Not in WWE or TNA where I'd like to see him. If he's happier elsewhere, though, more power to him.

More wrestling tomorrow.
