NXT headed Down Under, Jimmy Uso update, New DBD14 and Field of Honor matches, Interviews with Corbin/Cable, Ryback indie note, CMLL-ROH relationship official and expanding, Smackdown audience, UK promotion coming to WM33 weekend, Bagwell suing for Network royalties, and Questions on Teddy Hart on a big stage, Stephanie picking Foley, Foley's transformation, lawsuit names in the HoF, and Roman's punishment being fair

NXT will tour Australia and New Zealand at some point. This was announced live during the ongoing WWE tour there. That's great news! NXT has a fair number of Aussies now who will have something of a homecoming. It's really impressive NXT is that over in other countries. I wonder how far we are from an NXT tour of a country that doesn't predominantly speak English. Japan, Mexico, and additional European countries are potential future tour destinations.

Jimmy Uso assisted his brother after Jey lost to Braun Strowman in Australia. However, Jimmy has not returned to the ring yet. I would imagine he's somewhat close to returning if he's on an international tour and got physical, but no word on when exactly we'll see him officially involved a match again.

Added to ROH Death Before Dishonor XIV:
- Jay Briscoe vs. Hangman (Adam) Page
- The Addiction vs. Tetsuya Naito/EVIL vs. Michael Elgin/Hiroshi Tanahashi for the ROH World Tag Team Championship.
-- In true ROH fashion, ROH booked a match we already know the ending to with the booking for Field of Honor. Naito, Evil, Tanahashi, and Elgin are already involved in other matches that night.

Baron Corbin was profiled in his hometown. WWE could use more talent in his mold to balance out all the smaller, faster guys. Too many talents of any particular form gets old.

The now-former Ryback is working as "The Big Guy" in his indie dates. It's entirely possible he gets a different name at some point, but Ryback and Skip Sheffield would be off-limits.

Chad Gable talked about his background. I hope the sky's the limit for the talented mat wrestler.

ROH has booked a tag team gauntlet match for Field of Honor. The winning team will immediately face The Addiction for the ROH Tag Team Championship. The participants are:
- The Briscoes
- War Machine
- ANX
- Toru Yano/Gedo
- Cheeseburger/Will Ferrara
-- I'm interested to see whom the next tag champs will be.

CMLL has announced an official working agreement with ROH. That opens up some doors for talents on both sides of the border. Of course, NJPW is in the mix, too. Smart work by all involved.

Matt Taven will be heading to CMLL at some point on behalf of ROH. It would be good for him to make himself more valuable for when returns to ROH. With the Kingdom done, he's got his work cut out for him when he returns from injury.

Smackdown's audience this week was 2.46 million. Well, the new night/live bump was good while it lasted. I don't know what kind of big changes people want to start watching more regularly.

UK's PROGRESS Wrestling will hold a show in Orlando during WM33 weekend under the WWNLive banner. This is their first U.S. show, and a big milestone for that reason. I wouldn't be surprised to see WWE work with PROGRESS more in the future, especially if the UK promotion cozies up to EVOLVE more.

Buff Bagwell is suing WWE over royalties for footage of him featured on the WWE Network. PWInsider has a big rundown of the issues involved. It will be very interesting to see what the ruling is here, as it would affect a lot of other people who are featured on the Network, too. Individually, I wouldn't expect anyone to earn much, but collectively, they could really cut into WWE's revenue from the service.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I didn't realize I wanted to see Hart do Christian's "One More Match" gimmick until this post. I think it's pretty telling no one will touch him with a 20-foot pole. TNA's X-Division is pretty bare and and WWE had 32 spots for cruiserweights (more if you include alternates), but no one's biting.

2. They're trying to make her more of a face ahead of her memoir dropping. She still has a rivalry with Shane, but overall they're trying to present her as more of a face.

3. As was alluded to, Foley's role now is a supporting one. He's just there to set the stage for the active wrestlers to be showcased. It's the right move for him to not overshadow the people still taking bumps.

4. Now THAT'S a burial. I certainly don't see the people involved in the lawsuit going into the HoF while it's ongoing. We'll see what happens once it's thrown out.

5. He can still get pay from days he's not taking bumps due to merchandise money and so on. So, it's a fair punishment. Thirty working days would be excessive.

More wrestling tomorrow.
