TNA's Indian TV deal potentially in jeopardy, Vince absent from TV, The Big Guy-jin?, Del Rio considering his options?, MVP not returning to WWE, Interviews with Stephanie/Bob Holly/Rex (Sandow), Ospreay-ROH update, and Questions on Enzo's promos, MITB post brand extension, how TNA fell from their heights, and who's exempt from the Wellness policy

TNA's television home in India is in advanced talks to buy WWE's television home in India. This would give Sony Six (TNA's home) the deal to air WWE in the country. Sony Six could opt to keep Ten Network (WWE's current home) as a separate channel in the deal, or merge key Ten content onto Sony Six. If Six does shutter the Ten Network, it's entirely possible they would have to choose between airing WWE or TNA. WWE would likely win that battle, leaving TNA without one of its biggest sources of revenue. It's too early to say what exactly will happen, but it's definitely a situation worth keeping an eye on.

- TNA has still not set a tour of India after last year's was canceled. A tour of the country is part of TNA's TV deal there.

Vince McMahon has not been present at recent TV tapings as the New Era has begun, although he has been constant contact with those producing the TV shows. He's expected to return at Summerslam. Whether this is a test to see how things go at TV tapings with him absent or him taking something of a vacation is unknown. I definitely wouldn't assume this is a sign of him moving away from the reins of the company at this point. If anything, the ratings drops of the past few weeks would give him all the reason he needs to insist he stays on as long as possible.

The Big Guy (formerly Ryback) is in negotiations to join NJPW. It's believed the two sides are closing in on terms, but nothing has been signed yet. He's booking himself for regular work on the American indies in the meantime. There has been no word of interest from TNA, which is something of a surprise. It's possible he wants more money than they're willing to pay.

Alberto Del Rio and Paige were present at a Combate Americas show recently, leading to speculation of Del Rio looking to join the company in some form. Del Rio's WWE contract has an "out clause" in September, meaning he'll be able to consider ending the deal in order to leave for another promotion. TNA is interested in him, and I imagine LU and ROH would like to have him back as well. He's got a lot of options in Mexico, too. If he's not happy in WWE and he's set financially, I wouldn't be surprised if he looks to make a jump.

MVP is no longer in negotiations to return to WWE. It was considered a long shot, but things are now officially dead as far as that avenue goes. Given his age and baggage/ego, it probably wasn't worth making him a big offer anyway. There are still talks with other former WWE names to return, but no new names have been confirmed since Curt Hawkins and Jinder Mahal.

Stephanie McMahon indicated WWE could integrate LGBT storylines into its product at some point. That's going to be really tricky to avoid backlash from either people saying they're doing it just for tokenism/PR points or from people who don't want LGBT storylines in their "family-friendly" (exclusively heterosexual) programming. They could easily tick off blue states AND red states if they're not careful. I think the best way to do something like that would be to have a character who's a great wrestler, etc. who just happens to be gay rather than them being "the gay wrestler" on the show as if that's their whole character. Like, say, Neville. I have no idea what his real sexual orientation is, nor is it any of my business. But, if Neville (the character) just happens to have a boyfriend or something and it's no big deal either as a positive or a negative, everyone can move on with their lives and enjoy wrestling without unfairly dwelling on that aspect of the performer. Obviously Darren Young would make the most sense in a lot of ways since the performer himself is out, but the worst thing to do would be to pigeonhole him as "that gay wrestler" and push him/feature him in angles that just center on that.

Hardcore Holly gave a long interview. I would have watched the hell out of a Holly Family Christmas segment. I still partially wish we got Astronaut Bob Holly on the ECW reboot.

Aron Rex, the former Damien Sandow, discussed signing with TNA:
- Great of TNA to use Rolling Stone to promote their big move. They NEED some buzz right now.

- I'm a little surprised he made the jump to TNA. His last RS interview indicated he was close to moving on from wrestling.

- TNA definitely benefits from bringing in another solid talent. The show generally features some really good wrestling.

Will Ospreay could end up working ROH regularly in 2017, either by signing a deal to work there outside of NJPW tours or as part of the working agreement between ROH and NJPW. Considering EVOLVE also wants him, ROH should make the most of their association with NJPW if they're going to secure him.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Looks like we got a cuppa hatahs heah. Enzo definitely comes up with his own material, but WWE might tweak things a bit before he actually delivers his promos.

2. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they had a Raw MITB match on one PPV and a Smackdown MITB match at a different PPV. It's the New Era, Maggle! One could be at Mania and one could be on the (presumably exclusive to one brand) MITB PPV itself. What I'd really like to see is one show get MITB and the other brand get, say, King of the Ring to declare a No. 1 Contender. I definitely want to see the brands differentiate themselves in that sense.

3. The moment Hogan and Bischoff came in was the biggest night in company history. It was also what started their decline. There was a LOT of money spent going live more often, going on the road more often, signing and retaining big name stars, etc. Losing their identity and losing Spike has left them at about 20 to 25 percent of what they were when they were at their height. They had a lot of momentum built up to where Hogan and Bischoff could take them over the top, but it was handled so poorly from a financial and identity perspective that they've really fallen a lot.

4. No comment!

5. I would expect Jericho, Cena, and Orton would be subject to the policy because they work on the road regularly when they're not injured or busy with non-wrestling endeavors. They generally don't just show up for one PPV and bail. HHH, Taker, and especially Rock would definitely be potentially under the part-time label given their in-ring schedules, but it's unknown exactly whom WWE classifies under what label.

More wrestling tomorrow.
