Superstars Reax - 7/31/16, WWE Network additions, NXT live event notes, ZZ on WWE release, Big anniversary for Angle, more on Patterson autobiography, a Swiss lucha dragon, TNA alum honored, and Questions on the Universal Title, the brand split not being fully in effect, titles on both brands, not suspending Brock, and WWE burying Roman

Superstars:
- Cara vs. Dallas:
Weird seeing Bo by himself after so long being an Outcast.

This is fine so far. Both men are talented people at this level.

I assume Sin Cara's headed to the Cruiserweight division once that becomes a thing. I worry he might not stand out if they also use Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, and TJ Perkins.

Sin Cara's a talented guy. It was nice to see him prevail here.

- Dudleys vs. Swagger/Titus:
Swagger Gator can be a fine pairing. I don't see them reaching big heights, but they could certainly fill out the tag team division.

I can't wait to see the Dudleys vs. The Revival. I think there could be a real passing of the torch there.

I like how the Dudleys can be outright mean. They're not trying to "win a good match." They're out to hurt people.

I would have missed Titus if he left after the incident with Vince. Even if it was just for the bark.

DAMN. The Dudleys can't even beat two people who rarely team. Of course, the matches on Superstars and Main Event are pretty much just to warm the crowd up and give them something to cheer for. So, babyfaces winning is a pretty safe route to take.

Apparently 2016 (so far) is the worst win-loss percentage in the Dudleys' history, and they've lost more matches than they even had in a full year during any of their years in TNA:

WWE Network is now adding Raws from 2006 and 2007. It's possible they'll fill in the archives for that show this month. For whatever reason, Raws from the years 2008 through 2011 haven't been uploaded yet while the years before and after are all caught up.

At an NXT live event in Florida, Jeet Rama and Kishan Raftar lost to Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton. With the main crew working a loop elsewhere, more names got a chance to show what they can do at this level. I hope the Indian signings are progressing well.

Finn Balor worked his last match with NXT this weekend, teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura to beat Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode. He had a big speech at the end of the show. Carmella, Nia Jax, and Mojo Rawley were also congratulated for their promotion to the main roster.

ZZ Loupe talked about his NXT release. I really wonder how serious he is about being a wrestler, but I wish him the best in whatever he does next.

Kurt Angle talked on the 20th anniversary of winning his gold medal WITH A BROKEN FRICKIN' NECK.

A Toronto newspaper released an excerpt Pat Patterson's autobiography. That's going to be a really insightful read.

Cesaro did the Lucha Dragons entrance before a live event appearance.

TNA alum Chris Melendez was honored for his service at a Mets game. I'd be surprised if the Dudleys haven't tried to get him a look for NXT.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I imagine WWE will consider it as such.

2. They're still dotting i's and crossing t's with the brand split, so you'll see live events and dark matches that don't match the draft for a little while. I expect it's just a temporary thing until Monday live events for Smackdown happen. Shifting around the whole roster is a really big undertaking!

3. Normally, I'd agree. But with a three-hour branded PPV to fill every month, each show having a full slate of titles makes that task much easier. Why make up a whole bunch of personal feuds when they can just have people fight for titles?

4. It's pretty telling how much pull Brock's got, and perhaps part-timers in general since none are tested. Had they suspended him in the way mentioned here, he wouldn't be able to appear on the road to Summerslam, which is important to them. I think they could have easily suspended him following Summerslam for 30 days he probably wasn't going to work anyway, but WWE just casually exposed a BIG hole in Wellness Policy equity.

5. The Usos would rather (theoretically) compete for the WWE Title on Smackdown than have it on Raw, even if their cousin has it.

More wrestling tomorrow.
