Wrestling names at UFC 203, wrestling world responds to Punk's UFC bout, WWE live event note, important TNA names at EVOLVE show, and Questions on Brock in UFC, TNA becoming more like Final Deletion, Cena vs. Taker at WM33, giving the Usos a manager, and Corgan on the mic

Luke Harper, Noelle Foley, Tyson Kidd, Matt Sydal, Ace Steel, Cliff Compton (Domino), AJ Lee, John Morrison, LU's Taya, and Son of Havoc were all at C.M. Punk's UFC bout. Most of WWE's wrestlers were either in the Far East or at a live event in North Carolina, so I don't know where the "Vince paid for tickets for WWE stars to attend" thing came from.

- Alberto Del Rio, Natalya, Nikki Bella, R-Truth, Batista, Hardcore Holly, Mick Foley, D'Angelo Dinero, John Morrison, Madison Rayne, Donovan Dijak, Aldo (Adam) Rose, Son of Havoc, Angelina Love, and Mike Bennett discussed C.M. Punk's UFC debut. Punk definitely showed a lot of guts stepping into the Octagon.

Erick Rowan was in Bray Wyatt's corner at a WWE live event this weekend, but he was not used at Backlash. Maybe Bray gave him the night off since Bray figured he wouldn't need any help that night after taking Orton out?

Billy Corgan and TNA Creative member Dave Lagana were at EVOLVE 69 this weekend. Make of that what you will. TNA did sign Caleb Konley not too long ago.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think it was more of something Brock wanted to do and had put into his contract rather than something between Dana White and Vince. I don't think it had anything to do with Rousey's appearance.

2. I don't think we're going to see a full-on change of the style of TNA toward what we see in things like Final Deletion. I wouldn't be surprised if it all wraps up before the end of the year and they move on to something new for 2017. That's probably the best move. It's been a lot of fun, but all good things must come to an end. As for Corgan, we're already seeing a little bit of his plans with the Grand Championship. I don't know if he pushed for it, but I assume he approved it. I definitely think Corgan will be willing to try new things, since they've pretty much gotten all they can out of the Dixie era.

3. Absolutely! I think it's probably the best bet at this juncture. A lot can happen between now and then, though.

4. I think they can probably do well enough without a manager. Unless they're going to work with Tamina again, I don't really see any reason to pair them with anyone else. Tony Atlas is kind of a head-scratcher in particular, since he's mostly known for comedic roles in more recent appearances.

5. He's still fairly new to the wrestling world. That audience isn't necessarily going to be receptive to a musician being a big part of a wrestling show. So, there's a pressure there that doesn't exist at a Smashing Pumpkins concert (where people paid to see him specifically).

More wrestling tomorrow.
