Mick Foley raised more than $21,000 for Puerto Rico recovery through a wrestling auction. That's great!

The UK Sun discussed Roddy Piper being stabbed at a wrestling event in the 1980s, which was detailed in a recent Piper documentary. Wrestling used to be a really wild atmosphere.

CMLL's Rey Cometa and Esfinge will work ROH's November 17 and November 18 events. That stretch will be a big one for ROH.

Daniel Bryan missed Smackdown to sell the Kane attack, as the angle was that he went to a local medical facility after Raw. It wouldn't shock me if Shane McMahon was involved somehow given the tension that's popped up between Smackdown's commissioner and general manager.

NXT Management did speak to Lio Rush as a result of his recent tweets regarding Emma's release, but Lio is back training in the WWE Performance Center, so it's not expected he'll be further punished.

Bayley was originally set to face Alicia Fox on Raw, but Nia Jax was figured into plans later. I'm glad Nia has returned.

Emma spoke out on her departure. I hope she does have great work ahead of her.

Pete Dunne talked about his work so far and more. I'm glad WWE's letting people get work outside of what's currently a part-time brand. They've done a good job cultivating an audience that appreciates work outside of the usual WWE offerings.

Sin Cara has signed a new multiple-year contract with WWE. It looks like they're going to push him as part of their latest attempt to have a major Latin star.

WWE is looking to use Rockstar Spud and Hideo Itami on 205 Live in the near future, pending signing Spud and getting the right opportunity to move Hideo up. Both could be good additions for different reasons. I know a lot of people want Hideo to get a bigger role than that; maybe if he really excels on that show, WWE might want to use him on Raw or Smackdown. He's got his work cut out for him picking up momentum and staying injury-free; that's likely why they want to use him there instead of planning on pushing him on a major show.

Impact's Eli Drake, Alberto El Patron, LAX, Sienna, Sonjay Dutt, and KM are set for the the One Night Only show on December 9 with WrestlePro in New Jersey. I hope more Impact names are working that show; otherwise it's more of a WrestlePro event featuring Impact talent rather than a combined show.

Don Callis is still working NJPW for the time being, but expects an Impact contract soon. If he isn't part of the upcoming Impact tapings, he could join in January. NJPW has replacements for Callis already in mind.

Impact has pitched working with NJPW, but NJPW is still focused on their ROH agreement.

Ricochet is not expected to join Impact following negotiations with the company. He's able to work there if he wants due to LU having an agreement with Impact; he can't join WWE until January.

Tessa Blanchard will be at Impact's November tapings. If WWE's not going to use her, Impact absolutely should, along with some other MYC talents if available.

Impact will use a lot of Canadian talents at their upcoming talent, from referees to lower-card names. The company gets a production tax break if they utilize a certain number of Canadians for their tapings.

Impact will not do as much on the production end in Canada, as a significant number of Orlando-based staff will not be making the trip. The company is absolutely focused on saving money where possible going forward.

Dutch Mantel isn't expected at Impact's Ottawa shows. Dutch has not been as involved with Creative after Jarrett's departure. That's a shame; he's got a great mind for the business.

Braxton Sutter is also not expected to work Impact's upcoming tapings, so his angle with Allie is presumably being dropped. It'll be interesting to see how Allie is used going forward with that in mind.

Homicide is opening a wrestling school in the Northeast soon. That's not a bad idea as his ring days wind down.

Velvet Sky will be live on Fite TV chatting with fans during Bound For Glory. That's got to be weird with her no longer being part of Impact.

Raw drew 2.85 million viewers Monday night. That's not bad given their average lately.

Braun Strowman is official for Kurt Angle's Survivor Series team. I'm interested what that will mean for Kane going forward, as it looked like those two were going to face off.

Road Dogg visited the site of DX's invasion of WCW before Smackdown and 205 Live taped in the venue.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Wrestling companies exaggerate and stretch the truth. That's been true for 100 years or so now; it's part of the work.

2. Even as a legend, a 48-year-old man with a history of neck injuries should be intimidated by a more active, much younger athlete threatening him.

3. There are a lot of possibilities. I suspect Main Event is going to stay on the Network no matter what happens with Raw and Smackdown. I also expect Raw and Smackdown to be sold together, but I'm sure WWE is open to other ideas.

4. As long as he gets to be Olympic Hero Kurt at Survivor Series, it's all good. I liked how he was used at TLC regardless.

5. Roode and Ziggler don't like each other. But they REALLY don't like Raw insulting the place where they work, so they work together on temporary basis. It's that simple.

More wrestling tomorrow.
