Impact Wrestling Reax - 11/23/17

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Impact Wrestling.

- Opening Thanksgiving video:
I don't blame them for turning this episode into a holiday special. They might not even have 200,000 viewers this week.

- Irvine appearance:
Works for me!! I enjoyed his reality shows.

- Turkey Bowl drawing:
It's funny that Drew Gulak was willingly wearing the Gooker suit, but in Impact it's a punishment.

- Fantasma interview:
Imagine flying to Canada from Mexico to compete in a match regarding dressing like a turkey.

- Knockouts title announcement:
Wow, this division's pretty thin right now. But bringing in new names, even temporary ones, works for me.

- More matches for next week:
I'm really looking forward to Alberto vs. Impact. Glad they didn't blow that on this show.

- Another Thanksgiving video:
It's always awkward when they air footage showcasing people who aren't with the company anymore, especially when they're working elsewhere.

- More name-drawing:
Wow. They barely taped anything in the ring for this episode!

- Various name-drawing and interviews:
Jesus. They're just totally throwing this episode away.

- EVEN MORE INTERVIEWS OH MY GOD:
I'm really missing the Broken Universe right about now.

- More stuff not in the ring:
Moving right along...

- Teams feast:
It's kind of sad they had to ration things here with so many other expenses going on (including paying fans to attend).

- KM/Fantasma/Adonis/Konley/LVN vs. Edwards/Justice/Garza/Bahh/Allie:OK, Justice taking a roll was pretty funny.

This is something else. Vintage Impact Wrestling.

Kind of a chaotic match here.

This isn't bad for THE ONLY MATCH OF THE NIGHT.

Honestly, the action's fine. They're just throwing so much out there.

Hey, the people here are trying.

Edwards is really solid.

Oh it's the pile on everyone else spot.

Edwards vs. Adonis turned out well.

- Post-match:
More stalling to complete the show. Ugggggggghhhhh.

Imagine having to make the call whether to keep funding Impact, then seeing this show.

This is basically One Night Only for a weekly show. Impact still has some great workers and does pretty good stuff, but that's not on display tonight.

PHEW. It's over!
