Main Event Reax - 11/4/17, WWE Network notes for the week ahead, NXT TV main event, Lio Twitter update, Flair doc preview, Interviews with Cass/Alberto, another Piper trailer, Knockout to miss Impact tapings, WWE trademark, title match booked for Impact TV, Impact executive and referee leave, new Knockout coming in, Impact changing offices, Impact merch note, Raw UK live event note, and Questions on WWE tanking Raw, ESPN's Flair doc, NJPW names working indies, Bundy update, and how the WWE HOF works

-- Main Event:
- Jordan vs. Hawkins:
Hawkins has lost 125 straight going into this. That's impressive in its own way. But, hey, he survived the releases!

Jordan's a solid athlete. Always a joy to see him compete.

Hawkins isn't bad, really. He's just not someone who stands out enough to push.

This is going well, chemistry-wise.

Pretty good ending sequence.

- Cedric vs. Nese:
On 205 Live, every match is Kane vs. Big Show in terms of how many times we've seen it. This is their fifth one-on-one encounter in a year.

I will say the Halloween match was amazing, with Nese's pumpkin chuckin' situps.

Good work so far.

NICE work stopping the springboard move. You'd think more wrestlers would try that.

I like the story they're telling here.

Pretty good work here.

Nice ending.

"WWE Ride Along" after Raw will feature The Hardys riding together as well as Curtis Axel riding with Bo Dallas.

Adam Cole vs. Roderick Strong will headline this week's NXT. Those two have a history in ROH.

WWE Network's Flashback Friday this week will honor military veterans. That's clever!

Lio Rush alluded to his recent Emma comments in a pair of tweets: Tweet 1 Tweet 2 That's definitely a better response than he initially put out. I wish him the best going forward.

ESPN previewed Ric Flair's special.

Big Cass talked at the New York Jets game.

Roddy Piper's documentary got another trailer.

Taya Valkyrie will not be able to work Impact's Ottawa tapings, but she will return for January. That's unfortunate given the big push she was getting.

- Taya's situation is related to her not yet being a permanent resident of the United States. That could complicate matters upon her return to the country, so Impact opted not to use her at these shows. Hopefully that all gets sorted out soon.

Alberto El Patron discussed his Impact suspension and more. The airport incident was a while back at this point; I just hope nothing like that happens again.

WWE has trademarked "Kidz4Kidz" for a community outreach and charity service. Shouldn't they be encouraging correct spelling among today's youth??

Eddie Edwards vs. El Hijo del Fantasma for NOAH's top championship will take place at Monday's TV taping. So, we'll see an American vs. a Mexican for a Japanese championship in Canada!

Earl Hebner has also left Impact, the last full-time referee to do so. I assume it's cheaper to have individual referees work a few dates at a time instead of having full-time staff under contract.

Hania the Huntress is debuting at this week's Impact tapings. There had been reports of her signing a deal with the company sometime ago.

Impact will be consolidating its offices with Anthem's offices in Ottawa, with the current physical office in Tennessee eventually no longer being used by the company. It's currently unknown how this will affect the staff in Tennessee.

Impact is moving its merchandise sales to a third-party company.

Impact's chief financial officer has been let go after many years with the company. He had been talking retirement a few years ago. I assume someone at Anthem is taking over his duties.

Trent Seven and Tyler Bate beat Tyson T-Bone and Joseph Connors at Raw's November 4 live event in England.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Not at all! They'd be crazy to willingly drop that much revenue by sabotaging their own show.

2. It definitely goes into the effects of being the Nature Boy on himself and others.

3. It's a case-by-case thing, as was said.

4. He hasn't wrestled since 2007.

5. Basically no one's successfully pushed for him to get in yet. There's no real formal process to it beyond people pitching Vince ideas and him deciding things based on that.

More wrestling tomorrow.
