Bullet Club's Kenny Omega and Guerrillas of Destiny will face Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, and Rocky Romero in the main event of NJPW's February 17 Australian show. So, Omega is still a big part of the Club despite the angle with Cody.

John Cena superfans are being cast for an unspecified production in California.

Triple H has taken over the booking of "205 Live," starting with the tournament to declare a new Cruiserweight Champion. Vince McMahon has stepped aside in an effort to reboot the show. The show has struggled to gain an audience since its debut. The feeling backstage has been that making "205 Live" a smaller version of Raw and Smackdown didn't give the show a chance to show what made the cruiserweights special in the way the Cruiserweight Classic did. The show has featured some solid wrestling the last two weeks. We'll see if that approach leads to an increase in viewers.

NJPW's March 25 show will air live on AXS TV, as expected. That will be a big night for both sides.

Shelton Benjamin found a loaded gun in his rental car. That could have ended really badly.

Impact is taping a One Night Only event with Scott D'Amore's Border City Wrestling on March 3 in Ontario. It sounds like it will be saved for pay-per-view rather than airing live.

Bob Ryder was recently hospitalized for blood clots. I hope he doesn't have to experience that again anytime soon.

One Night Only: Canadian Clash will air on Global Wrestling Network on February 16. This features James Storm's last match with the company.

Impact is now selling bundles of autographed photos. EC3 and Laurel Van Ness are included for their final appearances.

CNN Money put over WWE and its stock, showcasing the company's storylines, social media reach, and WWE Network. The piece also speculates on the future of Raw and Smackdown. I hope the personalities and storylines are still vibrant in the years to come, as I don't know how much of a draw the product focusing on athleticism will be.

Smackdown drew 2.51 million viewers Tuesday night, in line with the previous week's number.

Brock Lesnar could return to UFC after Wrestlemania, but will likely stay centered in WWE notwithstanding a few special attraction fights.

Stephanie McMahon working with Ronda Rousey could be a way to further Stephanie's profile as she and Triple H continue to become the public faces of WWE.

Seth Rollins vs. Jason Jordan is penciled in for Wrestlemania, pending Jordan recovering in time. That certainly makes sense, and could be big for Jason.

5 Star Wrestling's first live television show drew 800 fans. That's respectable, but they were running a 11,000-seat arena. Their TV company likes the idea of the promotion running major venues. That idea's all well and good, but that's not even 10% capacity.

The Booker/Graves situation is mostly an angle, but has a basis in some real feelings on Booker's part.

Bobby Fulton has announced a retirement show on May 26, which will mark 40 years in the business.

Supercard of Honor XII has passed the record for most tickets sold for an ROH show, with more than 3,800 sold two months away from the event. That's fantastic news, and one would think it's only going to grow from there. This is particularly impressive given last year's show had the Hardys and this one won't.

As Vince McMahon focuses on the XFL launch, Triple H will likely take over more responsibilities in WWE. Jeremy Borash will join others being tapped to fill key positions as HHH's focus shifts. Importantly, Vince is fully expected to remain CEO and chairman going forward.

Lars Sullivan is having some knee problems, but should be back training soon. He's been built as a monster.

Big Show needed a second surgery due to an infection during the first surgery. He isn't expected to return to the ring for another six to eight months. I'm curious what his goals will be when that time approaches given his previous talk of retiring in 2018.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I don't think Vince expects to hit NFL numbers, and I think he recognizes he's the underdog here, but he's definitely going to give the XFL a lot of effort.

2. But if they don't chant for the wrestlers' spouses, how are they going to show how smart they are for knowing who's in a relationship behind-the-scenes? And they've got to be mean to the Vince-approved models to show how rebellious and edgy they are. It's part of the "smark" mentality, unfortunately. They want you to know that, even though they're at a WWE show, they're way too cool and smart to actually LIKE what WWE pushes.

3. I think he walked into WM33 intending to retire, but now he's giving a match with Cena some serious consideration.

4. Eh. I didn't really mind. There were only so many potential additional entrants anyway.

5. From a character standpoint, Asuka vs. Alexa could be a lot of fun. From an in-ring standpoint, I think I'd have to give the edge to Asuka vs. Charlotte. The latter could be Melina vs. Alicia Fox good, at the least.

More wrestling tomorrow.
