More on Rousey-WWE, more on Vince-XFL plans, Rumble notes, WWE women's documentary in the works, Chamber lineup plans, who's replacing Borash, WWE HoFer wrestling in Japan, UK contract notes, WM35 city set, more on Lashley's future, more WWE injuries, podcast notes, Impact-WrestlePro Twitch air date, Smackdown live event set, Interviews with Jimmy Hart/Bar/Adamle/Sutter+Allie, ECW original on Instagram, WWE UK stickers, upcoming WWE Creative book, WWE name appearing for ICW, Aldis NWA World Tour, Total Divas press, WWE 24 deleted scene, and Questions on current WWE injuries, Impact's longest-tenured employee, Cole's commentary, talents on Impact TV long after they leave, and Lashley's future

Ronda Rousey has reportedly signed a multi-year deal in WWE. She could end up facing Stephanie McMahon in a tag team match with Triple H and either The Rock or Kurt Angle. I'm much less interested in that than Rousey vs. Charlotte. I've seen more than enough HHH/Stephanie angles at this point.

Rousey coming to WWE is very much a Stephanie McMahon project to get a top female star in the mix.

Vince McMahon doesn't intend to have outside investors in the XFL. That's not really a shock given how Vince usually wants so much control of things.

Asuka's Royal Rumble win got some press in Japan from outlets that don't normally follow wrestling. That's good enough news.

Adam Cole was considered for Bobby Roode's open challenge at Royal Rumble. That could have been cool, although losing a Kickoff match wouldn't have been great for him.

WWE is doing a documentary on women's wrestling featuring a lot of the women who appeared in the Royal Rumble.

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan will likely be in the men's Elimination Chamber match if they're cleared. Both are having issues right now.

The women's Elimination Chamber will likely feature Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Sonya Deville, and Mandy Rose. I like that group.

Kevin Sullivan (not the wrestler, nor the author, but the producer) has been doing more video work for Impact. So that's probably who's taking over Borash's responsibilities.

Bob Backlund will be wrestling in Japan in April. He's still going at 68!

A number of Five Star Wrestling stars are under contract for the potential World of Sport reboot, which may or may not be coming back later this year. We'll see how that plays out.

Wrestlemania 35 will be in New York on April 7, 2019. That's one of their favorite markets.

Lashley is expected to join WWE soon, with speculation he'll face Brock Lesnar after WM34. Of course, that means Brock would be sticking around. That should be big!

WWE official Scott Armstrong is out of action due to an elbow surgery. I hope he recovers soon.

Oney Lorcan is out of action due to unspecified injuries. He shouldn't miss long. I've wanted to see him on 205 Live for quite a while.

Terri Runnels' latest podcast discussed appearing on Raw 25. She wanted a bigger role, and joined others in criticizing so many names being booked just to appear for the crowd.

Ken Anderson is on X-Pac's latest podcast. He discussed his Impact work and more.

Impact's WrestlePro event will air February 9 on Twitch. Good to see them getting content on the service.

Smackdown will run a show in New Jersey on March 24.

Jimmy Hart promoted Wrestlemania 34 in Louisiana. I'm surprised we didn't see him at Raw 25.

Tajiri has joined Instagram. Cool to see that.

WWE is releasing a sticker collection for the UK. Pretty cool.

Chris Jericho is on Stone Cold's latest podcast. Austin is making his podcast more family-friendly in order to get more advertisements. Hopefully that's a good move for him.

The Bar talked in the UK. They've really got something that works well.

Mike Adamle discussed the effects of his NFL career on "The Today Show": Clip 1 Clip 2 It's sad to hear how things are for his mental state.

A future WWE book is tracing the creative path to Wrestlemania 34. It should be released in August. That should be a pretty cool read.

Drew McIntyre will go into ICW's Hall of Fame on February 12. I'm glad WWE's letting him appear there as he recovers.

Braxton Sutter and Allie did a conference call before Impact.

Nick Aldis will tour the world, defending the NWA World Championship more than 20 times across 60 days. That's pretty impressive from the rebooted company. Aldis is going to get a lot of work through the tour, and the NWA is going to get a good deal of exposure.

ROH has announced additional matches:
- Kenny King vs. Shane Taylor on February 9
- The Young Bucks vs. Kazarian and Scorpio Sky on February 10
- Coast 2 Coast vs. The Dawgs on February 10

Lana tried to break a world record promoting "Total Divas." That would have been a great way to commemorate Rusev Day.

The Undertaker discussed pain relief in a deleted scene from the Wrestlemania 33 "WWE 24" special. Man, he's had it rough. I really hope this is his last year. At some point, it's not worth it.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Um, they can both be working hurt. I don't think Jordan's injury is back related, though.

2. Ryder was one of the people who put the original idea for the company together. He has pretty deep roots there, too.

3. OH MY! VINTAGE COLE! Vince very much sees Cole as the model commentator for 2018. If anything, we're going to see more people in that vein as long as Vince is in charge.

4. They made the most of those talents while they were there. I suppose it beats paying people to stay under contract for a few months and not wrestle when they're just biding their time to work elsewhere. WWE has the resources to do that, but Impact doesn't.

5. I wouldn't be shocked to see him pop up on Raw right after WM34.

More wrestling coming up.
