Global Wars Buffalo Reax

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Honorclub event.
- Addiction promo:
Vintage SCU.

Classy gesture regarding the fires.

- Kingdom/Boys/Castle:
See, they want us to see Taven as a top guy, but then they put him in a match with The Boys.

Well at least they're killing The Boys.

Oh.... well, looks like they're saving Lethal vs. Taven for Supercard. Taven vs. Castle certainly makes sense to build that.

That was pretty badass.

- Castle vs. TK:
Nice story so far.

Man, imagine if Dalton was 100%.

Nice enough.

- Post-match:
Castle's earning points for working through an injury.

- King vs. Burger:
I wish we'd get more from Aries in ROH after that Last Chancery spot.

That was fun.

- Rayne vs. Klein:
Rayne is invaluable to this division.

Not bad.

- KUSHIDA vs. Gresham vs. Flip vs. BUSHI:
Now things are heating up on this show.

ROH is good about putting good workers together and just letting them loose.

Flip can be a big player. That's why it's so frustrating to see him saddled with Bully Ray.

This is single-handedly making the show worthwhile.

That was really good!

- Cobb vs. EVIL:
I'm impressed with Cobb yet again.

This is really nice.

Another meaningful win for the champion.

- Juice vs. Silas:
I like the story early.

Again, Silas is better without Bully. There's a theme here.

Both sides doing good work here.

Uggggggghhhhhhhhhh.

- Post-match:
We FINALLY get some movement on this angle. I don't see any "firing" sticking, though, given Bully's track record.

- Naito/SANADA vs. Bucks:
This is starting well.

Good work from everyone.

I still love the running joke about the paradise lock.

These are top level workers for a reason.

Damn. This is a breakout match.

That was awesome. Worth checking out.

- Lethal vs. Sabin:
Strange this isn't headlining.

Nice story early.

I like the technical work in this one.

These two are really smooth together.

Hell of a story.

It's worth noting these two had a singles match in Impact in 2006, since I usually point that out for other wrestlers.

- Post-match:
That could definitely be good.

Soooo... who's facing Lethal at Final Battle?

- Briscoes vs. Friends vs. Cody/Page:
Haha I liked Jay interrupting Cody vs. Trent.

Good so far.

I like how these names work together.

This is really solid.

WOW. ROH bringing back the Attitude Era, huh?

That was a weird spot with Brandi.

Everyone here is solid.

All three teams look like contenders in this one.

Damn. This one's worth checking out.

Good ending to keep things going.

More wrestling coming up.
