Read on for my thoughts on last night's Smackdown Live and Mixed Match Challenge.
-- SDL:
- Women's division:
Becky comes across as a big deal. This is fresh.
I like that Becky and Charlotte aren't best friends just because they both beat up Ronda.
OHHHHH MAAAANNNN that should be great.
Ha all the women just hanging out waiting to interrupt.
We'll see how adding a third SDL woman to the title match changes things.
- Bar/Show:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Show's already out of the picture.
- Usos vs. Bar:
Good work so far.
Ahh both teams are so smooth.
I love The Bar's physicality.
These two teams ALWAYS deliver.
Looks like we're in for a fun gimmick match at TLC?
- Miz/New Day:
Even WWE sees Kickoff matches as meaningless. There you have it.
Oh boy more Shane.
- AJ promo:
Should be a pretty good match at TLC.
Interesting shot at Bryan's new schedule. Are we supposed to hate Bryan for protecting his health after his career almost ended?
- Shinsuke/Rusev:
Bleh. At least Nakamura looks like a killer again.
- Jeff/Joe:
Wow kind of a sudden tribute to Jeff. I wonder if he's heading out after WrestleMania?
It has really been a meaningful run for Jeff inside and outside of WWE.
Again, pretty interesting they're honoring him like this.
Two former Impact World Champions.
This was pretty good. They could really have a big match at TLC.
- Miz vs. Kofi:
A rematch from 2009.
They work together pretty well.
Miz is definitely still a heel for now.
Pretty fun for the time it had.
- Orton/Rey:
Ahhhhhhhh I love heel Orton.
A little surprising a heel wasn't about burying the whole culture.
Also, TJP and Kanellis would love Orton.
NICE attacking someone while they're hurt.
Well it looks like they're going to have a Chairs match.
That was pretty badass.
- Shane/Miz:
Uggggggghhhhhh so much for a good followup from SDL's Survivor Series losses. I mean, Miz is hilarious, but you'd think Survivor Series would have meant more. I guess they are the B show after all!
- Women's battle royal:
Good to see Asuka be a force again.
Haha Mandy is Sonya's second again.
Asuka vs. Sonya could really be fun in a longer feud.
Good ending stretch.

- Jinder/Alicia vs. Ember/Hawkins:
This is becoming Main Event 2.0.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HAWKINS ALMOST WON.
Worth it for the Hawkins spot. Ember's really good and should be used more.
- Finn/Bayley vs. Lashley/Mickie:
I mean I can't blame them for pacing this out after so many consecutive days on the road.
Finn vs. Lashley is always good.
This is solid enough.
