Crazy WWE press conference, Interviews with Funkadactyls/Hornswoggle/Nikki+Alicia+Lilian/Fandango+Summer Rae/Sting/Stone Cold/HBK, and Questions on a Vince autobiography, facing WWE on Mondays, the state of TNA, Brooke returning, and Young coming out

There was a symposium on WWE 2K14, which is getting a lot of attention due to the behavior of the panelists. I can see why people are buzzing about it. What the hell was going on there? Definition of a(n entertaining) trainwreck.

Update: Jim Ross denies being drunk at the event, blaming his Bell's Palsy. Either way, that was pretty crazy.  What's Flair's excuse?

Update: WWE Management was less than pleased at the presentation, and this could have an impact on Flair becoming a WWE Ambassador or not.

Here are some pre-Summerslam interviews: Naomi and Cameron, Hornswoggle, Nikki Bella/Alicia Fox/Lilian Garcia (all one interview), and Fandango/Summer Rae. Suffice to say that Summerslam was an important media event.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Sting discussed his infamous Victory Road match with Jeff Hardy from a few years back. From all accounts, Hardy's staying on the straight and narrow, which I'm glad to hear.

Stone Cold Steve Austin talked about wrestling, movies, podcasts, and more. Nothing really monumental. I do wonder why Tough Enough didn't come back - it had to have been fairly cheap to make compared to a scripted drama.

Shawn Michaels (with his awesome beard) talked about WWE and more (including some about the beard).

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. "Vince has never wanted any kind of biography or DVD". O RLY?  But no, he's not going to stop his incredibly active role in the company to write a book. I'd LOVE a top-level Vince biography, but I think it can wait until he's dead. Not to be morbid! It would just be "incomplete" to me until then. Vince writing an autobiography could be really amusing, though, given some of the crazy stories about him. "And then Droz puked! It was amazing."

2. Only if someone wants to throw a whole bunch of money away. I guess it could happen down the line, but I don't see either scenario coming to fruition any time in the next couple of years. But hey! Crazy things happen.

3. I agree with their answer. That said: the Knockouts also have a story, and the BFG Series is a story. The Abyss story is just on the shelf for now: he's still TV Champion. They want to focus on the BFG Series and Aces and Eights for now. Roode, Aries, and Hardy are all in the BFG Series and appearing fairly regularly. Storm I'll agree with is kind of spinning his tires seeing as how he and Gunner don't seem to have any rivals in their league.

4. I really hope no one in TNA saw this question and thinks that it would be a good idea. But it could happen.

5. I pretty much agree with their answer. I think it's a fair point that anyone who has a problem with Young's homosexuality will likely remain silent, however.

More wrestling tomorrow.
