Sin Cara hurt, Heyman is stressed, what happened after Raw, Hall update, Interviews with "See No Evil 2" directors/Barrett/Bryan/Natalya, Ryback's victims identified, more fallout from 2K14 presentation, how WWE markets itself, Smackdown press, Cena update, Summerslam does great, Rey back soon?, Raw audience, and Questions on Alicia Fox, TNA vs. ROH, "Internet panhandling", Orton/Heyman, and TNA's malaise

Sin Cara dislocated a finger during his match on Raw, and will be undergoing X-Rays to see what kind of damage has been done. More on this as it comes in. I enjoy Sin Cara, so I hope he doesn't suffer too much of a setback.

Paul Heyman appeared on "Stressipes". Mostly entertaining.

After Raw, Orton and the McMahons left the ring. The Sheild beat down Daniel Bryan until Heny, Show, and Ziggler made the save to take them out.

DDP updated Scott Hall's progress. He's coming along. I like that they're not trying to "build Rome in a day", but instead making progress at a reasonable pace.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Two directors who will work with Kane in "See No Evil 2" talked. I like that they're wrestling fans, though they screwed up the famous line about Kane debuting. THAT'S GOTTA BE KANE! How hilarious is Vince's commentary? It's like he's trying too hard. I wonder what people thought of Kane's debut at the time:
"It's ridiculous that Taker sold so long! Why is it that Fake Taker 2 can take Taker out in one move when HBK couldn't beat him after that whole match? lolWWF. I can't wait until WCW puts them out of business."

Sam Roberts talked to Wade Barrett before Summerslam. I miss the facial hair. He's right about Nexus getting derailed. Barrett vs. Punk would be pretty great I think.

Daniel Bryan talked WWE 2K14. So far, they seem to have taken the torch from THQ rather well.

Ryback's victim on Raw was Christian Cole, who has worked for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. His victim on Smackdown was former CZW Champion Drake Younger. I don't know if either are being considered for regular roles.

TechnologyTell.com looked at the disastrous WWE 2K14 presentation. This is not the kind of promotion that WWE wants.

Variety.com covered the Summerslam/Doritos connection. A lot of that's pretty cool to read about for me.

Here's a story about an upcoming Smackdown taping. It's SYFY. SYFY!!!!!!

John Cena only has a minor tear in his triceps, so he might not be gone as long as he initially feared. He'll undergo surgery this week. WWE wanted to cancel Cena vs. Bryan, but thankfully Cena insisted and it went on as planned. Cena's insanely tough.

Update: Cena's advertised for a number of events from September on. He could just be appearing; it might be best if he takes more time off from the road to recharge his body and mind.

Stone Cold talked to Samoa Joe (episode #39 here). There was a time when people saw Joe as the next Austin in some ways.

Summerslam was a legit sellout. That's awesome!

Natalya talked before Summerslam. Old news, bro.

Robbie E promoted a TNA show with two hamsters who may or not be on "The List". Not as exciting as I hoped - Robbie was  dialed down from his on-screen persona.

Rey Mysterio is advertised for this weekend's WWE live events in California. I haven't heard anything about him being cleared, so I would assume he might just be appearing.

Raw pulled in 4.30 million viewers - its highest mark in almost 4 months. That's good to see! I think they've got a really good story coming along.

TNA is doing away with the "3-way X-Division match" concept, which I think a lot of people will appreciate.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think she worked NXT not too long ago as well in their Divas' tournament as well. They can only have so many characters on-screen at once.

2. It seems crazy on the surface, but who knows? Their answer was pretty spot-on.

3. WORKIN' THEM MARKS OUTTA EVERY LAST DIME, BROTHER. It kind of depends on the case for me. Ultimately, it's up to each individual fan as to whether they give.

4. It's not a terrible idea, but I really like where they're going now. Given the history with Orton, HHH, Vince, and Stephanie, it makes sense to pair them up (if for no other reason than how sickening it must be for the little Jimmys to see them all work together after their big feud years back).

5. That sounds about right. I liked the Aces and Eights angle at first, but it has REALLY gone long. As for Roode, he is great and I would like for him to be a top act. He had a really good run as Champ. I don't think we could have asked for much more at the time.

More wrestling tomorrow.
