Criticism of Raw host, Raw guests, Cena net worth, Interviews with Miz/Brooke, new WWE hire, WWE's biggest moments, Nowinski on TV, Dynamite Kid update, new TNA international TV deal, Angle wrestles pop star, Bryan update, Raw audience, Show going back off TV and Questions on Raw commentary, Bryan as Unified/Undisputed Champ, Montreal, Hogan saving the Real Americans and Vince's direction

Matt Hardy questioned the point of Monday's Raw segments with Michael Strahan. There are valid points made about WWE's approach moving away from the superstars having feuds and such toward celebrities, comedy skits, etc. Most people point the finger to Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn for this approach.

Also visiting at Raw were "Super Size Me" director Morgan Spurlock and former Mean Street Posse member Pete Gas. I wouldn't be doing my major justice if I didn't mention the criticisms of "Super Size Me". Wikipedia has a starting point. Also, who do I need to talk to to make 3MB vs. Mean Street Posse a thing?

John Cena talked about how much his brand is worth. But WWE should totally turn him heel to appease the segment of the audience who streams PPVs and wouldn't buy heel Cena merch, right? As for Cena being able to hang with the younger performers, he's definitely still there (whether his critics will admit it or not).

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

The Miz talked about Survivor Series and more. I liked this interview. Miz is a guilty pleasure of mine.

WWE has signed a PA indie talent by the name of Logan Shulo. Details on him here. They're definitely stacking up for the future.

Yahoo looked at the biggest moments of every year WWE has been in existence. That's pretty cool.

Chris Nowinski was on Katie Couric's show to talk about head injuries. Press release here. He has a noble goal. I wonder if he and David Otunga ever hang out, given the Harvard connection.

Dynamite Kid continues to recover following his two strokes. A full recovery will take time.

TNA has signed a new TV deal in Japan to continue showing Impact there and now PPVs as well. That's great news!

Here's footage from Kurt Angle wrestling a member of One Direction at 1D Day. That kid's got some spunk! I wonder what it would take to get him to wrestle on Impact...

Brooke Tessmacher (who no longer uses her last name on-screen) gave an interview. She's definitely improved from the ECW brand days.

The going storyline with Daniel Bryan is him being kidnapped by the Wyatt Family, and he hasn't been seen since. Spooky...

WWE hit 4.14 million viewers on Monday, notably up from previous weeks. The ending of Survivor Series really brought in some interest.

WWE pulled Big Show from the Smackdown taping, saying he's not cleared to participate in further in-ring competition for the time being. This is all kayfabe. But, hey, I'm cool with getting another break from Big Show.

For my take on Tuesday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WE DRIVE VIEWERS AWAY ON MONDEE NITES, MAGGLE. You're not the only one who's tired of the commentary in WWE being more focused on amusing Vince and Kevin Dunn than getting over the stories in the ring and such. I can't think of a worse commentary team than JBL, King and Cole. Since the IWC likes conspiracy theories, maybe this is all a way for us to appreciate Cole since he isn't as bad as his partners.

2. If it does happen, expect The Authority to nullify his win again or restart the match or something. I don't see any reason to have Bryan get his big win until Mania - that's the big showcase to put someone over. Imagine if Hogan took the belt from Andre before Mania?

3. People REALLY overrate Bret's importance. His time was passing as WWF entered the Attitude Era and the nWo ran wild in WCW. Could WCW have used him better? Absolutely. Would he have turned the tide and kept WCW past WWF? I doubt it. There were a lot of other factors at play.

4. Yeah, I pretty much agree with them. It'd be really weird for Hogan to save two people whose manager has said the things Zeb Colter's said.

5. Pretty much what they said. Vince and his cronies are really stuck in the wrestling bubble a lot of times and not aware of what's going on in pop culture. It'd be great if they were more in-tune with the outside world, but I don't see it happening as long as Vince is in charge.

More wrestling coming up.
