Main Event Reax - 11/27/13, new WWE partners, TLC plan, Interviews with Ziggler/Warrior/Victoria (Tara), Cena on Hogan, Bryan angle update and numerous Questions on why WWE does what they do

Main Event:
Del Rio vs. Ziggler was really good from a storytelling and technical standpoint. I was very impressed. I still think Ziggler's missing a little something to be a top guy, but he hasn't really been given a shot to be in that role for long.

Funny Sandow promo. He's another guy who's not really doing anything of note, unfortunately.

Not exactly a great match for rebuilding Sandow. He got the win, but he didn't look like someone who could conceivably be World Champion.

I liked Fandango vs. Kofi a good deal. Both guys have something worth looking at. Progressing beyond what they have now will be key for them ever going up the card.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE is working with a celebrity trainer/fitness author to do content for them. That's great! It's definitely something more people need to be aware of.

WWE is doing auctions of an artist who does paintings of wrestlers. How cool is that? I've seen his work before and like it.

The plan for TLC (at least in kayfabe) is to have one undisputed WWE Champion by the end of the night. That's pretty historic. I still have split feelings on it. If used right, the World Title can really elevate people who hold it and get them closer to being seen as ready for the WWE Title. The argument is now they'll build up the U.S. and Intercontinental Titles to be worthy of contention. We'll see.

Dolph Ziggler commented on a number of topics, from why he isn't pushed more to Monday's hardcore match. It's a shame his outspoken nature isn't viewed as enthusiasm and hunger for a top spot.

John Cena commented on the possibility of Hulk Hogan being at WrestleMania XXX. Where did he say Hogan's too old to wrestle? That's pretty shady wording by TMZ.

The latest update on Daniel Bryan is him being found in a parking lot disoriented following his attack by the Wyatts. That could be an interesting angle.

Warrior (formerly Ultimate Warrior) talked about his memories of Survivor Series. Some cool insight on those days.

WWE.com caught up with the former Victoria/Tara. It's great she had the drive she did in order to make it to WWE. Of course, they didn't mention what Godfather's entourage were referred to as. Finlay is highly credited as a positive influence in the Divas' division. That hardcore match with Trish is still well-regarded. Oh, snap! They referenced independent wrestling!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Punk and Bryan have been pushed hard, too. Punk was champion for more than a year. Bryan headlined four PPVs in a row without losing clean. I don't see how the characters were significantly changed after getting over (probably because they weren't).

2. WWE does listen to the fans and live crowds. They also look at more tangible business aspects like PPV buyrates, ratings, etc. Orton vs. Show was a pretty good attraction. Show was fired, then came back to challenge someone who's held on to the WWE Title through dubious circumstances for months. But the "smarks" don't like Orton and Show, so they'll ignore whether the story itself was good or not. Bottom line, while WWE could definitely use a creative overhaul, a lot of "smarks" aren't really as smart as they think they are.

3. That's pretty much it. WWE gets really creative with their history to fit the story they want to tell. Just like the people who say Punk and Bryan were/are buried and had their characters changed.

4. I'd definitely rather see PPV feuds built well around a few big players than a bunch of meaningless elimination matches. Did we really need to see Eva Marie, Jojo, Rosa Mendes, etc. in a match?

5. WWE would just rather do other matches at Mania, perhaps specifically Taker vs. Brock while he's still something of a hot item. Cena vs. Taker would be an awesome match, for sure. Maybe for WM31?

More wrestling tomorrow.
