Main Event Reax - 11/6/13, famed indy promoter passes, more TNA stars to Japan, Hogan-TNA (and Hogan-WWE) update, Interviews with Eve/Cena/Heyman, Reks takes aim at WWE cartoon, NXT star in dark match, help Hacksaw, Del Rio to work outside of WWE, Sin Cara update, identity of TNA returnee and Questions on Cena winning and the IWC really not getting it

Main Event:
I enjoy the dynamic of the Wyatt Family. They're just two big, animalistic dudes who work together to take apart their opponents. They stand out from other teams on the roster who are working hard but get somewhat lost in the pack. PTP continues to be smooth, too.

Can't say I'm shocked that Young was made a victim there. The Wyatts are posed for moving up the card. I wouldn't view it as any kind of sleight against Young (or PTP in general).

Nothing bad from Alicia vs. Nikki. They're not my favorites, but I'm fine with seeing them every once in a while.

Pretty glad to see Hunico and Camacho back in the mix, even in a loss. I've enjoyed Hunico's work for a long time. This adds something fresh to the tag team division. I'd be down for some other names being switched in and out to shake things up.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

West Coast indy promoter Roland Alexander passed away. Sounds like he was quite the character and that the wrestling world was better with him in it. He'll be missed.

Rob Terry and Jay Bradley will join AJ Styles in Wrestle-1 in Japan in the near future. The two of them will be working six shows between 11/16 and 12/1. That'll be great for the two of them to get some experience.

There hasn't been any talk of bringing Hulk Hogan back to TNA. Hopefully that continues to be the case for the foreseeable future.

Former Divas' Champion Eve talked about her life after WWE. Glad the self-defense thing is working out for her. She came a LONG way over her WWE tenure.

Tyler Reks took a shot at WWE's new cartoon. Reks' cartoon seemed to be more about taking shots at people and at WWE as a whole than showing why WWE should feature the performers involved. I can't say I blame WWE for not doing more with Reks and Hawkins with that attitude.

John Cena talked to Marvel about comics and more. I can't think of many people who work as hard as Cena does. I'm not exclusively talking about his wrestling acumen there, but all he does for the company as a whole.

NXT's Xavier Woods beat El Local (Ricardo Rodriguez) in a dark match at the Smackdown taping. I wonder if now's the time to bring new stars up, since there's already a lot going on with the Authority angle. WWE has to be careful; you only get one chance to make a first impression and it can take a while for someone to forget a failed push.

While Hulk Hogan has been in talks with WWE, there is no agreement to bring him back currently. I think for historical reasons, it makes sense for him to appear at WrestleMania 30 and have a "ride off into the sunset" moment, but I definitely don't want to see him in a major role in WWE.

Vince McMahon will write the foreword to the upcoming WWE 50th anniversary book. I'd love to read a Vince McMahon autobiography. He's quite the character.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan set up a drive to get donations toward shoulder surgery. He needs the surgery to continue his career.

Paul Heyman talked about his role in WWE and more. Very intelligent man. I popped for the phone reference.

Alberto Del Rio will work a (non-WWE) show in Mexico in February as part of his father's retirement tour. That's pretty cool. Glad WWE's letting him do that.

Sin Cara is down in Mexico training to return to the ring. I wonder what Zeb Colter thinks of him tweeting in Spanish.

Dixie Carter revealed who's coming back to TNA. TOPLEL. Hopefully Jenna Morasca's next.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Little Jimmies need a hero. Bryan keeps getting screwed out of the WWE Title and Del Rio had deflected challengers a few times, so they likely felt that it was time for a babyface to get momentum as a top champ. This also probably factored in to Cena beating Sandow clean.

2. If by "squashed", you mean "given a competitive match with one of WWE's top stars", then yes, Sandow was squashed. I definitely see how people wanted Sandow to win there, but he wasn't thrown under a bus by losing. There's still time for him to be what people want him to be.

3. I sometimes disagree with Dave's opinions, but I have to applaud him in regards to his thoughts on this question. He was spot on!...... The questioner on the other hand, came across as an entitled mark who has lost touch with the wrestling business he's been following for years (?), only to still not understand how things like cliffhanger endings and heel promos work! Don't these people think about what they ask, before they hit that "send" button?

4. With the current four-PPV headlining streak of Daniel Bryan and year-plus championship reign of CM Punk a few years back, could it be that they are stars and that the IWC doesn't know what "over" means?

5. What is the point of sending in questions to PWInsider when you apparently have the ability to predict things that haven't happened yet? Bryan actually did win in two of those PPV main events, and didn't lose clean in the other two (or three if you count Bryan vs. Orton as the true main event of Summerslam). They've definitely put the screws to Bryan. If they didn't have so many PPVs to fill, I doubt we'd have seen that many twist endings. They can still have Bryan prevail in the end. As for WWE or Vince being responsible for getting a wrestler over, that's not 100% in their hands. Obviously they have some impact on it, but ultimately the fans' reactions determine who is really over.

More wrestling tomorrow.
