Legend suffers stroke, WWE fan wins Studios role, remembering Mad Dog, wrestling collides with other sports, win tickets to Raw in Seattle, potential Henry spoiler and Questions on IWC delusions, Survivor Series, the PG rating and Hogan vs. Flair

Tom Billington, best known as the Dynamite Kid, has suffered a stroke. That's very unfortunate. I hope he comes out of it OK.

A WWE fan won a part in a WWE Studios film with The Miz. I wonder what working with Miz was like for her.

The New York Times and The Montreal Gazette both remembered "Mad Dog" Vachon. He was quite the character. That era gets further and further away...

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

NFL.com compared a recent game to Survivor Series, which is a little odd since that game was playing at the same time as the PPV. Ahh, the easy John Cena joke.

Seattle Weekly is running a ticket giveaway for the 12/9 edition of Raw. I actually know someone in Seattle, but I don't think she's a wrestling fan.

In today's edition of "WTF AM I WATCHING?", John Cena was part of a clip on flopping in the NBA. That was actually kind of funny, as stupid as it was.

Mark Henry is advertised for WWE live events on 12/7 and 12/8, facing Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. I can't say I disagree with that decision. WWE needs something to do with Orton before Mania season.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Reality distortion field in full effect once again. What part of it doesn't make sense? The Authority doesn't want Bryan as champion, so they're doing everything to keep the title off him. It's always important to point out how the best interests of wrestling fans as a whole don't necessarily match the best interests of the IWC. As far as Bryan goes, let's look at how he's been booked lately:

- beats the face of the company clean at Summerslam to become WWE Champion. He only loses the title because of HHH's help at the end of a main event match.

- beats The Shield in a handicap gauntlet match

- beats Randy Orton to become WWE Champion again

- has a draw with Orton at Battleground.

- loses to Orton because of an HBK superkick

- beats the Wyatt Family clean alongside C.M. Punk

Through this run, he's had main events and high-profile matches with a number of IWC favorites from the indy scene. If anyone's doing any "burying" here, it's the IWC burying its head in the sand to avoid the facts.

2. Jesus. Where to even start with this one.
a. The average fan probably doesn't even know PWInsider.com is a thing. I guess IWC is something of a misnomer since FAR more people go to WWE.com than to any insider news site. Ask Alexa.

b. PG13 is for movies. WWE is rated PG. Smackdown in particular has ALWAYS been PG.

c. They should turn Cena heel when it makes sense from a business perspective. Their focus isn't to please the IWC, but their whole audience.

3. Does anyone really want to see a PPV full of elimination matches? I could see WWE doing Team El Torito vs. Team Hornswoggle with a bunch of minis. Anyway, WWE is showing why the elimination matches are a big part of the event historically and why they're still done.

4. A TV-14 show on E! means money from E!. PG content elsewhere means money from other places who don't want their product associated with TV-14 stuff.

5. >All Caps Lock question about seeing two men in their 60s wrestle.

I only want to see that if Scott Steiner does a run-in and does a shoot promo on both of them. No way does WWE actually do it.

More wrestling tomorrow.
