New backstage WWE hire, GFW live events set, Interviews with Corbin/Linda, Raw+Total Divas+Impact audiences, WWE producer missing WM32, bonus AXXESS guests, and Questions on turning Emma face, switching the WM32 lineup, the injury epidemic, a TNA faction in WWE, and a dream Brawl for All

Host Cathy Kelley announced her hiring by WWE. She's been working for the company in Connecticut for a few weeks now. I definitely see her appealing to WWE's younger demographic. Good hire.

GFW has announced live events for June 3 and 4 in Pennsylvania, and June 11 in New Jersey for a joint show with Wrestle Pro.

Baron Corbin talked about his success in WWE so far. Great pun in the headline. He's coming along pretty well in NXT. He could be a hoss of note on the main roster once he gets more experience.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Linda McMahon's appearance on Yahoo News Live mainly focused on politics, but she did address Hulk Hogan potentially returning to WWE: "I think you never say never at WWE, but I wouldn’t speak on behalf of anyone there.” So, nothing particularly newsworthy.

Raw's audience Monday was 3.76 million, a nice jump going into WM32. Next week's show vs. the NCAA Championship game will be a big test.

WWE producer Dean Malenko will miss Wrestlemania week due to recovering from a recent surgery. I wish him a speedy recovery.

This week's episode of "Total Divas" dropped to 563,000, the lowest mark of the season. That's down more than 500,000 viewers from the season five premiere.

Vader, DDP, Jim Duggan, Jake Roberts, and Alundra Blayze will all be signing at WWE AXXESS. Great to see all those names as part of the week's festivities!

Impact Wrestling this week drew 312,000 viewers in its first airing, and 76,000 in its replay. The overall audience was pretty much even with last week.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think there's more "use" for her as a heel working with up-and-coming NXT Divas, and helping Dana get to that next level. She'd be wasted if she was primarily a valet. As for her getting cut, HHH is a fan of hers. I think she'll be OK if she stays out of legal trouble.

2. Ambrose vs. Taker could have been pretty cool, but Shane vs. Brock sounds scary. No way should they have had Shane be in a position to possibly beat the force of destruction that is Lesnar. I like what we ended up getting more than the other scenario mentioned.

3. I absolutely think this is something that needs to be addressed. Hopefully the brand extension is a step in the direction of wrestlers taking less abuse on their bodies, with more talents being shuffled around. Blaming the number of over wrestlers exclusively on Creative is ludicrous. Some of the blame lies on the talent recruitment process pre-HHH not producing enough viable talents to fill the ranks, and talents being released over the years who could have done more with WWE.

4. I don't see any reason to put them all together just because they worked together in TNA. Pairing Roode and Young I'd be fine with, but I think the others should be used in distinct ways. There's no reason to arbitrarily make them all faces or all heels, much less make reference to TNA.

5. I'd book people who have serious heat with each other, and people who generally work stiff. If you're going to book a trainwreck, you need the train going full-speed. JBL, Stan Hansen, and Hardcore Holly have to be involved, for sure. Also, Brock gets both Young Bucks in exhibition matches as a warm-up. And maybe Del Rio vs. the original Sin Cara?

More wrestling tomorrow.
