Smackdown visitors, next TNA tapings set, more TNA pay issues, Impact preview, Sunny vs. Edge & Christian, ROH owners seal the deal on new channel, WWE UK tour preview, more on WWE animated venture, WWE works with Special Olympics, Interviews with Bubba/Bret, Titus suspension update, WWE executive salary notes, new GFW series in the works, Total Divas/Impact audiences, upcoming ROH lineup, NXT match added to Network special, WWE keeping an eye on WWNLive tryouts, HHH/Shane contract updates, and Questions on Shane taking a big bump, Ambrose's punches, LoN as the new Shield, R-Truth as the new Booker?, AJ's future, HHH vs. Ambrose, and Shane returning as an exec

Scott Hall and Ernest Miller visited backstage at Smackdown. I'm a little surprised Miller was there after he took issue with the Funkasaurus gimmick using his signature phrase.

TNA has booked tapings in Orlando from March 15 through March 20, with the plan being for the March 15 Impact Wrestling to be live. The company will also tape One Night Only shows during that timeframe.

Some TNA talents report not being paid yet for the UK tour tapings, with checks likely coming this week. Previously this was attributed to TNA having to get checks through Panda Energy in Dallas, but that's no longer the case.

Kurt Angle vs. Lashley in Angle's final TNA match is set for the March 8 edition of Impact Wrestling, as is Beer Money vs. The Wolves for the TNA Tag Team Championship. UK talents Jimmy Havoc, Will Ospreay, and Big Damo will also be featured in a match on that show.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Sunny fired back at Edge and Christian on Twitter after a gag on their WWE Network show took aim at her multiple DUIs and erratic behavior. It was a pretty stiff shot at the Hall of Famer. I think Sunny could benefit from professional counseling, including staying away from social media for a while. Hopefully her court case leads to her receiving treatment. Getting three DUIs in a year is a serious problem.

Sinclair Broadcasting has officially completed its purchase of The Tennis Channel. There has been strong speculation of the channel being turned into a broader sports channel, with ROH as a featured property. It will take time for any of that to come to fruition, however. For now, ROH is expected to stay on Comet while Sinclair puts together other deals for sports-related content.

WWE is advertising Roman Reigns for their UK tour. There's no mention of him being WWE Champion at that time, but the fact that he's announced but Ambrose isn't (yet) seems to indicate he'll be in the top babyface role then.
- WWE is also advertising New Day defending the WWE Tag Team Championship against LoN members on one show, and the Wyatts on a second show. So, it looks like the plan is for them to be faces and still the champs after WM32.
WWE showed pictures of its stars as characters in Surf's Up 2. That's one of the greatest things I've ever seen. I'm pleasantly surprised Undertaker is part of the project.

WWE is teaming up with the Special Olympics for a big campaign about derogatory language.

Bubba Ray Dudley discussed Wrestlemania:
- Interesting to hear Bubba endorse Sting vs. Taker.

- We actually got Taker vs. the Dudleys in a handicap match on PPV.

- Awesome for Bubba to give credit to other top tag teams.

Bret Hart talked to WWE.com about his prostate surgery:
- I love how a WWE Network plug got thrown in there.

- Bravo to Bret for using this as an opportunity to raise awareness about prostate cancer in general.

Titus O'Neil confirmed he will miss Wrestlemania due to his suspension. As much as I would have liked to have seen Titus win, I think Mark Henry should get the nod in his last Wrestlemania in Texas.

Several WWE executives made more of a salary than Vince McMahon. Those are three really important players for the company.

GFW's roster will be part of an upcoming series from the producer of American Ninja Warrior. What exactly that will entail is unknown, but this is believed to be different from the Amped series that's already been taped. The GFW project continues to take shape. I applaud Jarrett for wanting to do something new and different with wrestling.

Total Divas' audience Tuesday was 591,000. That's down nearly 200,000 viewers from the previous week, and almost half of the season debut's 1.12 million.

Impact Wrestling this week drew 258,000 for its first showing and 68,000 for its replay. That's up from the previous week, but still the second-lowest audience of 2016.

ROH has announced the following matches for their March 12 show in Philadelphia:
- Jay Lethal vs. Matt Sydal for the ROH Championship
- The Briscoes/Cheeseburger vs. War Machine/Moose
- Kenny Omega vs. Dalton Castle
- Adam Cole/Roderick Strong vs. reDRagon

The Revival vs. Enzo Amore/Colin Cassady for the NXT Tag Team Championship has been added to WWE Roadblock on the Network. It's good to see an NXT match on that show.

A WWE representative will be on hand for WWNLive tryouts on March 31. They're always looking for more talents for NXT.

Triple H's contract as a WWE performer expires on March 30. WWE is, of course, looking to extend that deal. He will remain under contract as an executive. I expect it's just a matter of how long the two sides want the deal to last, and how much money is involved.

WWE is looking to finalize an agreement to use Shane McMahon as a performer. It is currently unknown how long he will be used in that capacity, and there's no talk of him coming back as an executive.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I really hope Shane cares more about his body and his family than that. "Ripping off Mick's spot" is less of a concern than putting his health in that much danger.

2. Madden has a point about his punches not looking great. I think it's part of his whole "wild man" fighting style. He's more about frenetic energy than hitting hard like a Big Show.

3. a. I don't see LoN as being as dominant as The Shield. They've got a long way to go to show they can be that permanent and that much of an overwhelming force. Given how many clean losses they've all taken, I don't see them approaching where Shield was.

b. I can see comparisons to Bookdust with Golden Truth, but Booker and R-Truth are different enough as competitors for it not to be the same act.

c. Y2AJ is almost definitely a temporary thing, since Jericho's probably not sticking around long-term. AJ could go on his own afterward, or he could end up with Anderson/Gallows(/Balor?).

4. I don't see them changing the WWE Title on the Network just a few weeks before WrestleMania. It'd be an interesting twist, but they've been building HHH vs. Roman for the title for months now (HHH wanting Roman to sell out and take the title before Survivor Series, Roman getting screwed at Survivor Series AND TLC, HHH winning the title from Roman at the Rumble). Roman beating HHH for the title ends that story nicely.

5. There isn't any indication of that happening. Right now, he's just back as a performer.

More wrestling tomorrow.
