Superstars Reax - 3/25/16, Harper injury update, assorted WWE/WM32 press, another guest coach, Interviews with Sting/Owens, alternate PPV audio on Network, WWE in Family Guy, another match moved to WM32 Kickoff, WWE signs top Australian team, Brie retiring even sooner?, MITB 2016 location, Japanese commentary coming, former announcer at MSG, and Questions on why Kazarian left WWE, Low Ki's present and future, Hogan returning, and old-school HoFers

Superstars:
- Breeze vs. Swagger:
Nice chain wrestling early. I wouldn't mind seeing either man in a tag team to "reboot" their careers.

I like what these two do. Swagger in particular is pretty versatile.

I'm liking this from an action standpoint.

Getting out of the ankle lock to go for a superkick was clever.

That was fine while it lasted. Superstars is pretty much just no-frills bonus matches, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Kalisto's kind of a bland promo. That can be the case for babyfaces at times.

I appreciate the backstage segment to set up the later match.

- Kalisto vs. Konnor:
Power and size vs. speed and finesse. I like it.

I enjoy when the larger wrestler wears their opponent down, so when the babyface does hit their flashy moves, it means more.

That was pretty good for the U.S. Champion to outwit the tag team. The Ascension are pretty much stalled right now.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Luke Harper was pulled from this weekend's live events after his injury after Raw. The amount of people on the shelf right now is insane.

- Harper is expected to miss five-to-six months due to a knee injury. That's really unfortunate. He's always a lot of fun to watch. I'd like to see him as WWE Champion someday.

Ric Flair and Charlotte promoted WWE's MSG show and WM32 at the New York Knicks game. That's a good move to appeal to the more casual audience.

-  The pair also gave an interview on NYC radio. The image of Flair "woo"ing all the way to school is hilarious. I'm a little surprised at his Mt. Rushmore picks being WWE-centric. No Sting? No HBK? No Dusty?

British legend Johnny Saint has been working at the WWEPC as a guest coach. I love the guest coach idea to get some other tools in wrestlers' boxes.

Sheamus promoted WM32 on Conan. Oh, pale Irish people....

Sting discussed his health and more. I hope he's not trying to convince himself and doctors he's better off than he really is.

WWE Network now has alternate audio for 2016 PPVs in both Spanish and German. The plan is to expand to other languages, too, and I would assume they might go back and do alternate audio for older shows in order to appeal to their international audiences. Expanding more content to other languages will be key to the future of the Network.

WWE has added content to the Family Guy: Quest for Stuff mobile game. That's a little surprising given the content on that show, but if it leads to more business for WWE, it's worth a shot.

- "WrestleMania in Quahog" will feature Triple H, John Cena, Undertaker, Roman Reigns, and Stone Cold.

The Dudley Boyz vs. the Usos has been added to the two-hour Wrestlemania Kickoff next Sunday. That's going to be a LONG show. I think that's a good match to be on the pre-show, although of course the Dudleys not being part of a big WM32 match is kind of surprising.

Kevin Owens promoted this weekend's live events, as well as Wrestlemania 32. Hilarious as always. He's been a great addition to WWE.

WWE officially announced the signing of the team of Michael Nicholls and Shane Veryzer, known for their work as The Mighty Don't Kneel. They'll begin training soon. The fact they were given publicity for their signing is a good indication of their importance and prominence. They've been wrestling since 2003, and have more than 500 matches to their names at only 30 years old. That's a really impressive resume, and I hope it means we're in for a great team coming to NXT. If they're not good talkers (I have no idea one way or another), they could be paired with one of NXT's Australian Divas to complete their act.

The Dudley Boyz will be inducting Jacqueline into the WWE Hall of Fame. I can't say that's whom I expected. Why not someone like Sasha Banks?

More WWE interviews:
- Tyler Breeze

- Charlotte

- AJ Styles

Live events and Wrestlemania promotion abounds!

Brie Bella is expected to retire shortly after Wrestlemania, possibly as soon as the next night's Raw. She'll likely remain on "Total Divas" and in an ambassador's role, but she intends to finish up her feud with Lana and hang up her boots in order to spend more time with Daniel Bryan and start a family. She was previously expected to finish up in the summer.

- Brie and Nikki are both scheduled for Monday's Raw, likely finalizing what Brie and Lana are doing for Wrestlemania. We could see Nikki in Brie's team's corner to counter a final heel in the other team's corner.

Money in the Bank will be in Las Vegas on June 19. That's pretty appropriate.

Funaki will be doing Japanese commentary for Wrestlemania, this year's Hall of Fame ceremony, and NXT: Takeover: Dallas. That's great! I expect to see more international feeds as the Network expands.

Jonathan Coachman appeared at WWE's live event in Madison Square Garden. He interviewed the Dudley Boys, leading to the Usos saving him from the former ECW duo. Coach later danced with New Day after those three teams collided, which sounds hilarious. Good to see him pop up at a WWE event.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It's a LITTLE more complicated than that. He wasn't a fan of the corporate environment there, and wasn't convinced they were going to make good use of him.

2. I'm not nearly enough of an expert on the indie scene to answer that one.

Nothing to add to 3. I do wish Low Ki would have done more in WWE and/or TNA, but he's too independent for that kind of environment.

4. Never is a long time. If Hulk stays out of negative publicity for the next few years and "clears his name" so to speak, hopefully he'll be given another chance by WWE and society at large.

5. I'd also love to see some names less known to the casual WWE audience, but important to where wrestling is today.

More wrestling tomorrow.
