Superstars Reax - 3/19/16, Bray update, Bryan Network special upcoming, Kofi breaks record, Cesaro returning, two former TNA Champions leave the company, EVOLVE to host matches for GCS, NXT and WWE live event notes, and Questions on CZW on PPV, matches that didn't happen, MMA in WCW, the Ascension, and Wyatt being injured

Superstars:
- Summer vs. Natalya:
Solid wrestling early. These two match up pretty well.

I love Summer's heel tactics here. Natalya is pretty game in the ring, so this is enjoyable.

I'm enjoying the submission wrestling.

The story of each of them trying for a leg submission is good. I wish more wrestling had this kind of psychology.

Nice ending to a solid match. Great work by both women.

- Breeze vs. Ryder:
Good wrestling early.

I'm liking this match so far, although we could have easily seen this in NXT. I guess at least they get paid more to work the main roster.

Ryder's a pretty solid wrestler. I don't think he gets much credit for that.

Breeze is doing alright himself. I know people want him to do more, but I really think him getting experience as an undercard name is valuable. He was ready to come up from NXT, but I don't think he's set for a big push.

Ryder switching finishers is interesting. I'm not really complaining, though. Good match.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Bray Wyatt worked a six-man tag this weekend in New York, so he's still well enough to work in a limited capacity. There are rumors of him being injured. I hope we see something fun with the Wyatts at WM32.

WWE is asking fans to make video messages for Daniel Bryan ahead of a Network special airing after Raw on March 28. I expect we'll continue to see Bryan involved in WWE projects for years to come, like Edge and Christian.

Kofi Kingston has officially become the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champion since the title's creation in 2002. WWE.com interviewed him on the honor. He's been a valuable midcard player, which is better than being lost in the shuffle.

Cesaro is being advertised as returning to the ring at an April 15 live event in The Netherlands. That's good news! I can't wait to see him back.

Bobby Roode and Eric Young have each requested and received their releases from their TNA contracts, effective after last night's Impact Wrestling tapings. Both men were holding TNA championships going into this week's set of tapings, and have each been with the company since 2004. Roode and Young were two of TNA's pillars, going from a faction of promising Canadians to each holding multiple championships. I think this easily comparable to WWE losing two people like Randy Orton and Kane, who have been in a LOT of roles for the company, from featured stars to helping out younger talents. Both of them will really be missed, and I think either or both men going to WWE is a no-brainer.

- TNA issued a statement on both men leaving, with quotes from the departing former World Champions. They do still have some great talents, and even some pretty good ones, but this is still a big hit to them.

- Eric Young and Bobby Roode commented on Twitter. They actually worked as a team on WWE Velocity way back in 2003. I'd like to see them work together on Raw and Smackdown in the near future. Wherever they go, someone's about to pick up some really talented veterans.

EVOLVE will host qualifying matches for WWE's Global Cruiserweight Series. William Regal announced this to the crowd at a recent event for the promotion. That's pretty big for them! I think we'll see more talents end up in EVOLVE and NXT as a result of the series. It's a win for both sides, and, honestly, some of the talents who don't get picked up could still get a bigger profile and more bookings elsewhere, possibly even signed for regular work. This is good for WWE and good for the business as a whole.

Some notes from NXT in Florida:
- Tough Enough/Total Divas castmember Mandy Rose worked a tag team match in a loss.

- Former college football player Dan Matha won a match.

- Sunny Dhinaa and Gzim Selmani teamed up in a loss. Dhinsa is a Canadian former collegiate national freestyle wrestling champion, while Selmani is an Albanian former MMA fighter. I look forward to seeing a team with that pedigree. Imagine them facing American Alpha!

- Sara Lee and ZZ of Tough Enough did an interview.

- Austin Aries won in what I think was his first NXT match in Florida.

At a WWE show in New York:
- Mark Henry beat both members of the Ascension. I'm curious where these names will be in a year.

- Fandango, Darren Young, and Damien Sandow beat Heath Slater, Adam Rose, and Stardust. Pretty interesting pairings. No Cosmic Ascension?

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I also don't remember seeing anything about a show being on PPV in the near future. Maybe later in the year when they have a major event that they think people will actually pay for in that fashion.

2. That's pretty much it. I know Austin was really burned out at the time of WMX8, and wasn't a big fan of working with Hogan. I'm sure that factored into that one not happening. Hogan vs. Flair wasn't considered a big draw on the live events it was on, so they didn't do it at WM8. Goldberg just came in to work for a year, so they put him in there with someone else leaving WWE so Stone Cold could kick both their asses. As for Sting, they gave Taker a match to show he can still be dominant, and Sting faced off with an evil authority figure in a match with bells and whistles to improve it.

3. That would have been interesting. It could have been something they thought they wanted to try, but it ended up falling through (like WWE Network in 2012).

4. Not sure where that one started. The Ascension weren't involved in any such angle.

5. Right now, he's still going. They might be working around his injury, since he's just been in tag matches and a handicap match. We'll see if he takes time off after WM32.

More wrestling tomorrow.
