NJPW-U.S. updates, potential draft moves, UK Network show coming soon, why Flair stopped podcasting, AJ Lee press, upcoming WWE dates, Show on Fallon, Sonjay's next move, Impact signing, Impact UK app on new medium, X-Division injury, new WWE mobile game coming, more WM33 press, Gotch's future update, ROH signing, ROH departure, another Impact return next week, and Questions on NXT talents setting up the ring, the physical Impact tag team titles, America The Beautiful, and the site of WM33

NJPW could be getting a more current show on AXS TV instead of just sending footage of matches from months ago. NJPW and AXS would use this agreement to push their "PPV" level shows airing on New Japan World then AXS, as well as promote the July shows in California. That could be a big move for everyone involved. NJPW emerging in the U.S. landscape more and more has interesting implications for ROH and the indie scene in general. The world seems a lot smaller than it used to as far as international talents popping up all over the place.

NJPW could end up touring the U.S. more regularly in 2018, with speculation they'll have something similar to a brand extension or WWE's UK project. Namely, one NJPW roster for Japan and another for the U.S. That could also be a big hit to ROH given how one of their top draws now is being the place to see talent from NJPW and CMLL. This is still a good way from happening and right now is just a possibility, but it's something to keep an eye on.

The superstar shakeup is expected to see AJ Styles moved to Raw and New Day moved to Smackdown. That would be a fresh move for Xavier, Big E, and Kofi; they've done all they really can in the Raw tag team division.

WWE's UK tapings on May 6 and May 7 are for an upcoming one-hour weekly show on the Network. So, that's taking off soon.

Ric Flair got out of doing podcasts due to getting heat from WWE for his opinions and not wanting that to affect Charlotte's career. WWE usually has a pretty tight leash on what talent can say.

AJ Lee didn't do a Q&A as advertised at a recent book signing in NYC. Nothing hugely newsworthy from her appearances, although the book has its share of surprising revelations.

- AJ got press on FOX News for her book release. I don't think her character needed to go THAT far into Crazy Town.

WWE has a live event set for Connecticut on June 3, and will tape Smackdown on June 13 in Louisiana.

Big Show appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon alongside The Rock. WWE likes having Show in media appearances. He's done a lot for them in that department.

Sonjay Dutt has joined Impact as a producer. He had an offer for a full-time job at the WWE Performance Center, but it would have required him to move his family to Florida and he didn't want his wife to have to change her job. He also had a job offer as a wrestler in ROH.

Impact has signed LAX's Diamante, a.k.a. Angel Rose. The new LAX is making moves; they were active at indie events during Wrestlemania weekend.

Impact's UK app is now available on Xbox One there, so that's another way to check out Impact content.

DJ Z was injured during a match in Mexico for Konnan's Crash promotion. I hope he rebounds soon; he's been a real trooper for Impact.

- DJ Z required surgery for internal injuries. He's expected to be out of the hospital in a few days. There's no word on how long he'll be out of action, but I really doubt he'll work the upcoming Impact tapings.

WWE has teamed with SEGA for a mobile game launching later in 2017. The details of WWE Tap Mania are a little vague right now outside of it having a lot of past and present roster members as well as featuring big events like Wrestlemania. What if they did something kind of like Pokemon GO where you can collect and battle wrestlers?

WWE put over more big WM33 milestones. Big night for the company and for Orlando; I wholly expect Mania back in Florida in a few years unless something really changes as far as what Florida cities are willing to do to bring the event there. I would like to see future Manias head north for variety's sake, but money talks and the company's going to go with cities that really roll out the red carpet for them.

WWE's Mania week takeovers of cities were covered by Reuters. They plan on doing that sort of thing for their "Big Four" events in years to come.

Simon Gotch is now going by Simon (TBD). We should find out what's next for him shortly.

Kalisto's WM33 mask was made by horror icon Tom Savini. It's cool to see special gear for Mania.

ROH has officially signed Jonathan Gresham after he had made somewhat regular freelance appearances for them. He had also worked Impact on a freelance basis, but that won't be happening now. Good to see ROH picking someone up they can hopefully use for years to come.

Taeler Hendrix is no longer part of ROH. She had been a big part of their women of honor division, which wasn't often televised. This starts speculation of her going to WWE for their upcoming women's tournament. I hope that works out better than sticking with ROH as they theoretically create a championship and feature the women's division more.

Magnus will return to Impact Wrestling next week as the fourth member of Team Borash. Chris Adonis (Masters) and Matt Morgan have also been announced as coming back on that show.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. A lot of beginning talents do roles like that and taking tickets and the like to pay their dues to the business, etc. Some of the big talents can likely opt out because they've already spent so many years in the business, but it's definitely a rite of passage for the earliest recruits.

2. Impact has the physical titles, but the Hardys did a video dropping them in the Lake of Resurrection before giving them back.

3. It's Vince's call, and I think everyone does a beautiful job with it.

4. I'm guessing the Citrus Bowl sounded more big-league. WWE gets pretty particular with what they call towns and venues in order to present the product as being in bigger towns (New York City instead of East Rutherford, New Jersey, that kind of thing).

More wrestling tomorrow.
