Wrestlemania 33 preview

Read on for how I'd book tonight's WWE Network special event.

-- Kickoff:
- Andre battle royal:
Braun goes on an absolute tear. Just destroying everyone. Honestly, have him eliminate some people, go outside the ring (under the bottom rope), roll them back in, and eliminate them all over again. Braun needs to be a big player going forward; there aren't many chances to push someone this monstrous. They've got something here; they need to make the most of it.

- Neville vs. Aries:
Aries gets the win, but we'll see more of where this came from. Let Austin have his Mania moment and all that.

-- WM33:
- Alexa vs. Becky vs. Natalya vs. Mickie vs. Carmella vs. Naomi:
I was really hoping this would be an invitational with Eve, Kelly, and Tamina involved, but I'm under the impression that's not happening here, so just have Naomi win. I wouldn't mind Eve and Kelly involved going forward, as the company could use some credible veterans in the division. If they're not putting Tamina back in the mix at Mania, they should start plugging her return on Smackdown.

- Club vs. Enzo/Cass vs. Cesaro/Sheamus:
As uninspiring as I find Karl and Luke, I don't think it's time for them to drop the titles just yet. Might as well have them do an angle with the returning Finn Balor. I don't think WWE dropped the ball with the duo at all; it's just that without AJ and/or Balor involved, they're just not that interesting. Who heard of a club with two people?

- Ambrose vs. Corbin:
Baron wins a really wild match. This is is your brawl into the crowd craziness match of the night. Ambrose would be on the short list to challenge for the WWE Championship going forward. I was less than thrilled with him as champion last time, but I think he could be a babyface challenger if they don't try to push him as super wacky Dean.

- Y2J vs. Owens:
Owens. Pass the torch, get Kevin his heat back after Fast Lane... you get the idea. Jericho's game, but Owens is one evil SOB and is out for blood. They can have Owens "injure" Jericho in time for the May Fozzy tour and I assume have one last bout in June.

- Cena/Nikki vs. Miz/Maryse:
I love Miz, but I don't see him going into any singles title picture anytime soon so he's kind of stuck. Cena and Nikki get the big babyface moment and all that. I'm not crazy about it as a fan, but it's the right ending to the feud (and I DEFINITELY don't want to see it continue). Cena and Nikki take time off. Bryan calls up Shinsuke to teach Miz a lesson.

- Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Nia vs. Sasha:
Might as well have Bayley win since she hasn't been champion long and we've seen plenty of Charlotte and Sasha in that role. Nia will be protected by losing to three people. Bayley vs. Sasha is the finale, and they can tease a Banks heel turn.

- Shane vs. AJ:
AJ teaches Shane who's the wrestler and who's the authority figure.

- Bray vs. Orton:
Luke Harper makes his presence known, but Erick Rowan has Bray's back and counters him. Bray wins.

- HHH vs. Rollins:
Triple H and Samoa Joe do a number on Seth until a certain Demon King pops up. He might not exactly be on Seth's side, but he's got a bone to pick with Joe and HHH.

- Taker vs. Roman:
Braun gets involved, since the Andre battle royal wasn't enough carnage for him. Roman gets something of a tainted win due to that interference. Braun attacks Taker on Raw. Go ahead and plan Taker retiring at WM34, but potentially facing Roman again before then (Summerslam or Survivor Series). Braun vs. Taker also needs to take place at some point, if not at WM34 then at another big PPV.

- Goldberg vs. Brock:
Both men go out like it's Goldberg's last match. Brock wins. Either he interrupts Angle on Raw or vice versa, and our Summerslam main event is set.

More wrestling coming up.
