Read on for how I'd book tonight's NXT special.
Going to try to hit these pretty quickly since there's so much else to post about this weekend.
- SAnitY vs. Tye/Strong/Jose/Riot:
Faces get the win. SAnitY is none too pleased. Feud continues.
- Black vs. Almas:
Almas is game, but Black's too much for him. Cien attacks him after the match to continue the feud.
- Asuka vs. Ember:
Asuka "accidentally" hits the ref. Ember has a pinfall, but no ref to count it. When Ember revives the ref, Asuka kicks her head off to win. I vote for another Takeover special in June at Full Sail where these two can settle it, then the clock ticks down to Asuka on the main roster as part of the 2017 draft (where a number of names will shift among the different shows).
- Authors vs. #DIY vs. Revival:
Revival gets the underhanded win on #DIY before losing a hard-fought fall to the Authors. Dash and Dawson go to Raw Monday night. We eventually get to Authors vs. SAnitY, and hopefully that's followed by the Authors vs. reDRagon.
- Roode vs. Shinsuke:
Roode wins. Shinsuke arrives on Smackdown Tuesday night.
