NXT shows set, WWE renews Australian deals, WWE honors soccer champs, Impact vs. ROH on Y2J cruise, new WWE 2K mode, Japanese name at MLW, Nia hurt?, former WWE tag champion signed backstage at ROH, another ROH UK match, Hall of Famer at WWEPC, MYC commentary update, Interview with Big E, MLW signing talents, Raw audience, and Questions on Bret vs. Martha, ROH/NJPW's momentum vs. NXT, Lashley's appeal, and Vince not seeing AJ as a headliner

NXT has announced shows for New York on September 6, Pennsylvania on September 7, Ohio on September 8, and Michigan on September 9. There are the first non-Florida shows following Takeover:Brooklyn.

WWE is continuing their Australian TV deals for Raw and Smackdown Live.

WWE honored soccer champions Real Madrid.

The Young Bucks vs. LAX (Santana and Ortiz) has been set for Chris Jericho's cruise. That's really cool. I hope this is broadcast.

WWE 2K19 has added a tower mode, similar to NetherRealm's games. That's a cool idea.

Japan's Shigehiro Irie will work Ring Warriors' upcoming TV taping. Hopefully that's a good investment.

Nia Jax is reportedly rehabilitating an unknown injury. I hope she's able to get back in the ring for Evolution.

The former Joey Mercury has signed a deal with ROH to be a producer and trainer. That's a great move.

Tenille Dashwood vs. Ayesha Raymond has been set for Honor Re-United in London.

Scott Hall is at the WWE Performance Center working with talents this week. He's got a lot of knowledge to pass on!

Mauro Ranallo is expected to be a commentator for the Mae Young Classic. I'm sure he'll excel there. Hopefully a female joins him at the desk.

Big E talked before Smackdown Live.

MLW Champion Shane Strickland has signed a long-term deal. The company is looking to sign others to lengthy contracts as well. That's a necessary goal in a time where other promotions will grab a talent as soon as they're available.

Raw drew 2.90 million viewers Monday night. They got something of a boost for Brock appearing.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Bret endorsed the hall inducting Owen and keeping his brother's memory alive. So, no, I don't see it as hypocritical nor selfish.

2. Not only does she not want Owen in the Hall of Fame, she doesn't want WWE to promote or profit from his likeness. Bret sees that as erasing Owen's legacy as a wrestler.

3. NXT is pretty much always hot given the steady influx of talent coming in. ROH and NJPW are on an upswing lately, as well, with their increased visibility. We'll see if that's still the case by WM35, given a number of important talent contracts coming up before then.

4. The idea of Zayn being less vanilla than Lashley is mindboggling. Bottom line, they've booked Lashley's character like pretty much every other WWE babyface. If they treat him like a conqueror you don't want to cross, he can be compelling, as he was in Impact. If they book him to sing with Elias, he's just another guy.

5. He definitely sees guys like Roman and Lashley as WWE main eventers above AJ. If he's going to make Smackdown Live the centerpiece, it will probably be more of a case of shifting those names over to push guys like AJ aside than getting behind the former ROH/NJPW names. He wants larger-than-life superstars to close his events rather than great wrestlers.

More wrestling tomorrow.
