Legends of the Ring's June 1 convention has announced Kurt Angle, Eva Marie, Mil Mascaras, Mark Henry, Lilian Garcia, Molly Holly, Haku, KENTA, Aiden English, the former Tye Dillinger, Maven, Funaki, Shane Douglas, Francine, Mikey Whipwreck, Justin Credible, and more. Interesting to see some of those names advertised.

XFL will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN 2, FOX, and Fox Sports 1. So, Smackdown Live will be used to promote weekend football games on FOX channels. That's a very impressive deal.

MLW has hired former WWE and Impact director Dave Sahadi.

Santina de la Renta spoke to Sports Illustrated about producing an MLW episode and more.

Konnan's podcast is back on MLW's network.

Matt Striker also worked as a producer for Impact this weekend, on top of appearing as an interviewer at Code Red.

Sabu's Impact work is not set to lead to a full-time return, but Impact is open to using him again.

Impact's Sunday PPV had around 500-600 fans. This show was co-promoted with House of Glory, which runs the area regularly. It's worth noting Impact is claiming bigger attendance for their Friday TV taping (400-450) than was initially reported.

Impact president Ed Nordholm was at all of Impact's events this weekend.

Former NXT star Bull James was backstage at Code Red. He's local to the area.

WWE earned Shorty Awards for:
- Overall Facebook presence (winner)
- Overall Snapchat presence (gold)
- Overall YouTube presence (gold)
- GIFS (winner)
- Snapchat story - Ronda Rousey training at the WWE Performance Center (winner)

Double or Nothing has been confirmed for PPV on AT&T Uverse and cable companies. It's expected other PPV providers will follow in the days to come. This being the first AEW PPV probably meant some hurdles to jump through compared to the ROH- and NJPW-produced All In.

WWE will run Amsterdam November 12 for a Raw live event and Switzerland November 13 for a Smackdown Live live event.

Double or Nothing's battle royal is now a "Casino Battle Royale" with special rules. That sounds REALLY gimmicky, and we still don't know what's at stake.

WWE is sending Samoa Joe, Michael Hayes, Kassius Ohno, and Billy Kidman to the Samu charity show on May 29. The show will also feature Tommy Dreamer, Snitsky, The Tonga Kid, and Manu. It's great to see WWE helping out.

Paige discussed "Fighting With My Family" on "The Real."

Jerry Lawler and Bill Dundee discussed the Tupelo Concession Stand Brawl. Pretty wild stuff.

NXT Takeover:XXV has officially been announced for Connecticut. I'm curious what they would have called it if it wasn't the 25th Takeover special.

Raw writer Ryan Callahan was fired after a battle with fellow writer Dave Kapoor (Ranjin Singh). Callahan was in charge of the Raw writing crew in Stamford. We'll see what changes, if any, come of WWE's creative direction as a result of this.

Sasha Banks challenged Tessa Blanchard to a match that's unlikely to happen anytime soon due to their respective contracts.

For my take on yesterday's PWinsider.com questions:
1. Yes, ultimately whatever changes are made to the Creative structure only mean so much if Vince is still the one approving (or shooting down) their ideas. As for turning Raw and Smackdown Live into NXT, that's not possible in a lot of ways. NXT's roster is constantly changing and it's only an hour a week, so no one really has room to get stale. Plus, the roster of characters is a lot smaller. There are definitely potential lessons from NXT, but it's not as easy as copying what's done there.

2. I definitely think TV execs are discouraged by WWE's audience decline (and potentially Impact's as well), but with the kind of money AEW has access to and the success of their shows so far, I think they can put up a convincing argument. As for ROH, with the number of regional stations Sinclair has acquired, they have the potential to do well in their own right.

3. I don't see that happening. Hypothetically Vince can try to get him to appear more frequently, but it's not going to be full-time.

4. It would not surprise me AT ALL.

5. No, but it could be a negotiating ploy from UFC to tell Brock they're moving on without him if he's not serious about fighting.

More wrestling tomorrow.
