Raw Reax - 5/27/19

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Raw.
- Kofi/Seth/Brock/Dolph/Xavier:
Yeah it's starting to feel redundant with both champions on the same show.

Ha. Dolph just kind of gets pushed aside for Brock, since everything revolves around Lesnar.

This is pretty sad. The two top champions in WWE are second fiddle to a guy who treats every few months as his last in wrestling.

HAHAHAH holy shit Brock's music.

Well that was entertainingly ridiculous.

And the long tease continues.

Ha. Dolph picking up the pieces.

Good for Xavier to look after his friend like that.

I'm glad Xavier and Dolph are having a fight instead of showing their athleticism.

Pretty strong promo from Dolph.

- Uso party:
Oh I guess some 24/7 title matches will take place here.

 - Shane promo:
Ahhhh Heel Shane is such a hypocrite.

This is definitely a nice change of pace for Shane.

- Shane vs. Lance Anoa'i:
I'd love to know the tally of Samoans who have wrestled on WWE TV.

The biggest badass on the planet wins AGAIN.

- Post-match:
Fun enough to keep the hype going for SSD. I guess Taker and Goldberg aren't appearing to hype their match, so promoting the show falls on the others.

- Brock/Heyman/Seth:
Oh they're just going to do this every hour now?

Come on Seth. Let the man decide!

Ehhhhhh. I guess the Saudis changed their mind on Brock vs. Seth? I can completely buy Brock not knowing the stipulation and just showing up at MITB to wreck shit, though.

- 24/7 defense:
SEE GUYS THEY PUT EC3, ERIC, DRAKE, AND THE CLUB ON THE SHOW THEY'RE BEING PUSHED.

- AJ/Baron:
Gee AJ how smart was showing up to Raw injured.

- IIconics vs. Becky/Cross:
It is good to see Nikki in a match.

Wow Nikki's getting to be in here a lot.

Another loss for the champions. This title has really gone downhill. And where are the Kabuki Warriors?

- Post-match:
Oh so this is happening again.

- Usos/Revival:
INTRIGUE. Where are the Raw tag team champions in all of this?

- Ricochet vs. Cesaro:
Yeah it was definitely time for some more wrestling on this show.

This is nice so far.

Unbelievable athleticism as usual.

These two are great workers, but we'll see if they can stand out on a show with so many other shenanigans going on.

- Joe promo:
I guess they need another week to figure out if Rey's OK. Not much of an update.

- More Usos/Revival:
I guess Creative took the holiday off.

- Miz/Braun/Lashley:
Really, Miz? The title's been around for three years. It's not like it's been on your mind since you were on the Real World.

OK enough to get the point across.

- Braun vs. Miz vs. Lashley vs. Corbin:
Lashley vs. Braun can be fun.

I like how this is coming together.

This is pretty nice.

Good to see Lashley as a contender.

Nice Miz/Corbin sequence.

Oh wow. I can't say I'm looking forward to Corbin as a title contender.

- More party stuff:
Phewwwww this show needs some real changes.

Meh.

- Fun House:
This is demented but amazing.

Why can't the rest of the show be this creative? Let the talents run freeeeeeee.

- Zayn interview:
Oh Christ this is terrible.

I mean, the jabs at health care are fun, but is this really the best they came up with to fix ratings? Could be a USA Network request.

Well mentioning AEW will wake the crowd up!

Yeah let's bury this idea with the other 450 failed talk shows.

- Rollins vs. Zayn:
This is good so far.

Heel Zayn is surprisingly fun in the ring.

There's good back-and-forth here.

Oh great is Seth going to have to miss time, too?

Good story in this one.

Corbin and Brock are going to keep an eye on that knee.

I liked that!
