Raw team turns down contract, Network schedule clarification, WWE trademarks team name, WWE sells millions of shares, WWE fundraiser for HoFer, more on latest Shakeup move, Lio's status, new WWE staff, Cage comments on Rebellion, big Rey anniversary, Raw audience, Angle's new role, Impact taping match announced, new Impact tapings set, new WotW matches, top indie name announces farewell tour, SDL name moving to NXT, Brock retires from UFC, SDL dark matches, SDL cameo, and Questions on Bray's new gimmick, who authorized the Shakeup, AOP's status, a lack of backstage segments, and the next Takeover's location

The Revival turned down WWE's offer of five-year contracts recently, so that likely explains how they were booked on Raw. I guess the idea is to make them look like jokes so it's not a big loss if they leave down the line, but with declining ratings, is that really how you want to present a team you've spent that much time developing?

WWE Worlds Collide will air its fourth episode this week after NXT. WWE Network had mistakenly listed a two-hour episode of NXT this week instead.

WWE has trademarked "The Viking Raiders," so that name looks to be the official team name for the NXT Tag Team Champions.

WWE has sold 2.26 million shares of stock to Lone Pine Capital. This is roughly 5% of company shares. We'll see what that means for the company's value.

WWE is co-promoting a fundraiser event for Samu of the Wild Samoans as he battles liver cancer. WWE has worked with generations of his family.

WWE moving Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to Raw was planned for the initial Superstar Shakeup, but not implemented until this week. The team is still expected to leave WWE when their current deals end this fall.

Lio Rush is expected to move back to NXT after getting heat with Raw roster members over perceived slights and disregarding their advice. He's also brought unauthorized guests to events. It definitely sounds like he's having trouble acclimating to WWE's backstage environment. We'll see if he's able to be a long-term prospect or if he decides to work elsewhere.

WWE has hired new Creative team members, including a writer for "Off Their Rocker" on NBC and the MTV Awards, as well as a writer for TruTV's "Comedy Knockout." So, WWE seemingly wants to have more comedy elements in their product. I have mixed feelings about that.

- WWE has also hired two live event managers, one for the Midwestern United States and one for the Southeastern United States. The Midwestern manager formerly worked for the Houston Sports Authority, while the Southeastern manager has worked for Cirque du Soleil and Cricket Wireless. It definitely looks like they're qualified. I hope they can make some positive changes for the live event department, although the presentation of the live shows is only one factor in fixing things there. If the underlying product still needs serious work, I don't see these new hires making much of a difference.

Brian Cage commented on his title win and injury. Hopefully he's got bigger accolades ahead of him.

Rey Mysterio celebrated 30 years (!) since his debut match.

Raw drew 2.16 million viewers Monday. That's the lowest audience for a non-holiday show in series history. NBCU and FOX should be calling Vince and telling him to figure something out or step aside.

Kurt Angle has signed a five-year WWE deal to be a producer and occasionally appear on-screen. I'm curious how he'll fit in that role.

Impact has announced Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer for Friday's TV taping in the former ECW Arena. The two men first faced off in 1996. It's surreal it's happening again in 2019.

Impact has announced TV tapings for New York on June 6 and June 7.

War of the Worlds Chicago has added:
- Jay Lethal vs. RUSH vs. Jeff Cobb vs. PCO
- PJ Black vs. Karl Fredericks

Joey Ryan has announced a "Farewell to the Indies Tour." I would expect he'll sign with AEW shortly.

Killian Dain is expected to return to NXT after the Superstar Shake-up. So, no SAnitY reunion on Raw, which might be for the best given how little they were used on SDL. I hope he can be a big singles player now.

Brock Lesnar has retired from UFC, putting an end to speculation he'll be returning there while absent from WWE. That's definitely going to shift his relationship with WWE. I'm curious if he's looking to retire altogether shortly barring more massive WWE paydays.

Before Smackdown Live, Aleister Black defeated Jinder Mahal. I'm pleasantly surprised with Aleister's handling on the show so far.

Smackdown Live featured OVW's Jaylee as an opponent of Asuka and Kairi Sane.

After Smackdown Live, Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair to retain the Smackdown Women's Championship.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Bray is trying to be nicer after all his trauma but it's still there with him. Either that or it's a false front to lure new followers. After all, if he came out acting sinister on day one, how many fireflies would be lured toward the light?

2. The McMahons are directly in charge of both brands, so presumably they made all the decisions. There's definitely a feeling of WWE knowing why they're doing what they're doing but not necessarily explaining it clearly to fans.

3. Rezar competed on Main Event for a while, but hasn't been seen there in more than a month now. I assume he's pretty much on hold until Akam recovers.

4. It's much easier to just set up a place for interviews than anything more elaborate to shoot. Especially when the script changes so much at the last minute!

5. I expect an announcement at tonight's taping. The Saudi show's timing threw the initial plans off.

More wrestling coming up.
