Interviews with Maestro/Jungle Boy/Flair/Austin+Booker/HHH/Jericho/Janela, Batista responds to SD commercial, Big Show Show adds '90s sitcom star, NXT name gets first shirt, WWE makes big podcast hire, new Clash of Champions matches, Takeover notes, Punk Starrcast note, new Impact event match, new Global Wars matches, All Out staff and guests, and Questions on Paige returning to the ring and how much WWE is using Bryan

The Maestro discussed the Monday Night War and more. Here are highlights:
-  Realistically most of the WCW roster wasn't going to be featured in WWF. Obviously some names could have been used better, but there were only certain names they should have signed and pushed. Honestly bringing names in in waves was probably better long-term so each of them stood out.

- Yeah WCW feeling completely different every so often when they had a very different booking team really had an effect. For better or worse, WWE has been consistent for a long time.

Jungle Boy spoke before All Out.

Batista responded to being left out of FOX's Smackdown commercial. I mean, yeah, they could have done a two-minute commercial or something and included others, but it was good for what it was.

The Big Show Show has added Jaleel White. That's an interesting combination.

NXT's Mansoor has his first T-shirt.

Ric Flair spoke to TMZ Sports. I'm very glad he made it through his health ordeals.

Stone Cold and Booker T. discussed Booker's WWF debut and a match the two of them had. We need a 24/7 Championship match in a grocery store as tribute to those two.

WWE's new podcast network has hired Viacom's Dara Frank to be senior director. They're definitely making it out to be a big deal.

Clash of Champions has added:
- Big E and Xavier Woods vs. The Revival for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship

At NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff:
- Cesaro made a challenge, accepted by Ilja Dragunov. Cesaro won.
- Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews won the NXT UK Tag Team Championship in a triple threat match against Grizzled Young Veterans and Gallus.
- Kay Lee Ray won the NXT UK Women's Championship from Toni Storm

Vince McMahon responded to chants at Takeover: Cardiff. I'm curious if he'll be willing to make any changes based on how that show went.

Triple H discussed the debunked Enzo Amore/Big Cass to NXT story. SHOTS FIRED. I love it.

C.M. Punk discussed being open to a WWE return at Starrcast III, indicating WWE would have to reach out to him. Wow. Times have really changed, huh?

Chris Jericho spoke before All Out:
- Jericho was feuding with Riddle on Twitter but now he "hasn't heard of anyone in NXT." OK Chris.

- We're seeing more and more that AEW didn't need Jericho or lapsed Monday Night war fans to be a success. It could be a long three years if he's the centerpiece of the promotion.

Joey Janela spoke before All Out:
- Pretty fascinating look at how he got where he is now. I've got more respect for him after hearing his story.

- The Enzo thing ended up OK since now they can joke about it.

Impact's September 14 Impact Plus event has added Taya Valkyrie vs. Rosemary for the Knockouts Championship.

Global Wars Espectacular has added:
- September 6 in Michigan:
-- Jay Briscoe vs. Bandido
-- Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham (this might be changed with Gresham's recent injury) vs. Dalton Castle and Joe Hendry

- September 7 in Illinois:
-- Marty Scurll vs. Colt Cabana vs. Dalton Castle vs. Kenny King in a Four Corner Survival match
-- PCO, Brody King, and Flip Gordon vs. Bandido, Mark Haskins, and Tracy Williams

- September 8 in Wisconsin:
-- Matt Taven and Vinny Marseglia vs. Rush and Jeff Cobb
-- Caristico, Volador, Jr., and Stuka, Jr. vs. Rey Bucanero, Okumura, and Hechicero

All Out added some last-minute tickets this weekend that also sold out. Very impressive house.

Chris Nowinski was at All Out to discuss concussions with the locker room. Very glad to see that.

Tommy Dreamer worked All Out as a producer. I'm curious what his future looks like between Impact and AEW; he's in a pretty unique spot.

Al Snow, Chavo Guerrero, and EVOLVE's Lenny Leonard were visiting at All Out. There's serious buzz around AEW.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Nothing to indicate that's what's coming out of this.

Nothing to add to 2.

3. In 2019, not at all. He's doing quite a bit.

4. However much anyone would have or did bet they would have lost!

More wrestling tomorrow.
