WCW commentator Joe Pedicino is recovering from a stroke. That sounds like an incredibly difficult experience for him and his wife. I wish them the best in recovery.

Women's U.S. Open tennis winner Bianca Andreescu is receiving a replica WWE Women's Championship.

NWA has opened a few more tickets for their first TV tapings.

Hornswoggle's autobiography has been released.

World Class referee David Manning was at MLW War Chamber.

War Chamber was held in one ring so upcoming TV episodes didn't have two rings next to each other. That's the pitfall of that gimmick match.

MLW intends to make War Chamber an annual September event.

WWE's Bleacher Creatures will next feature Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Elias, and Becky Lynch.

NJPW will run California on November 11 for New Japan Showdown. I'm curious how they'll do on a Monday night for a holiday.

House of Hardcore has set events for November 23 in Pennsylvania and December 7 in Wisconsin. Tommy Dreamer has quite the busy schedule!

Triple H discussed NXT's move to USA on Pat McAfee's DAZN show.

NXT's September 18 episode has added Matt Riddle vs. Killian Dain in a Street Fight. That should be great!

AEW has announced their November 13 TV taping for Tennessee. The best attendance I can find for that venue is Starrcade 1996, which drew more than 9,000 fans. Impact has drawn a maximum of 3,500 fans there.

NXT has sold out its first four USA taping dates. That's not a surprise in the least given how small the venue is.

Ronda Rousey's "Why We Fight" series is headed to ESPN+ for Season 2.

Takeover:Houston the night before Royal Rumble 2020 has been replaced by a "Worlds Collide" show. Traditionally that has meant an event where stars from NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live compete, although a few Raw and Smackdown Live names have been there, too.

- There will be further changes in the Takeover schedule for 2020.

Drew McIntyre has missed WWE TV due to surgery for a minor issue, but he is now clear to return. WWE wanted to get the procedure out of the way before the October TV changes. That's smart.

Death Before Dishonor has added:
- Kelly Klein vs. Angelina Love for the WOH Championship
- Jay Lethal vs. Jonathan Gresham

Impact's parent company Anthem Media has purchased a majority interest in AXS TV, so Impact will be moving there at some point. AXS is expected to continue airing NJPW and WOW as they do now. Naturally there's speculation of Impact working with either or both parties after this move. Currently NJPW remains in a working relationship with ROH and is running more regularly on their own, so we'll see if there's any interest.

- Steve Harvey is also an investor in the new AXS, but I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with Impact.

Royal Rumble travel packages have been announced. That's going to be a major weekend.

Kofi Kingston spoke about returning to Ghana and more. I'm curious where his reign goes from here.

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are set for UK's Gorilla Position podcast on December 11.

WWE and Full Sail issued a press release about expanding NXT tapings. This is definitely huge for Full Sail!

Ric Flair is booked for the Atlanta Walker Stalker Con from October 18 through October 20. It's starting to feel like conventions don't have concrete themes anymore...

Howard Finkel was backstage at Raw. Fitting for the venue!

WWE had a number of New York-related merchandise items at Raw, as well as commemorative chairs for ringside fans.

After Raw, Stone Cold toasted AJ Styles and, predictably, gave him a stunner. Austin also endorsed Sal from Impractical Jokers.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That's the big question! To some degree it was due to the big expenses of that era, but there weren't big increases in attendance, PPV buys, etc. to correspond with the big boost in TV audience. It's a lesson worth paying attention to.

2. NXT could definitely benefit from picking up some underutilized Raw and Smackdown Live names. WWE should save their most valuable stars for the more tentpole events, but certainly someone like Roode isn't a bad fit. Frankly I want to see some of the people we barely see on Raw and Smackdown at all get a chance to reinvent themselves. There's a decent list of names just hanging out in catering or working live events.

3. I definitely wouldn't say stupid. It's more of a pride thing. Just as a lot of fans can buy a PlayStation and an Xbox, fans can watch as many different products as they can access and afford. That doesn't stop people from passionately defending one option over the other, though. I guess a lot of the mentality is the excitement of "AEW sticking it to/challenging Vince" or whatever, as well as hoping AEW brings change in how the business is run through the way AEW does things.

4. One of Bischoff's key roles is going to be working with FOX and relaying what they want to the WWE side and vice versa. He's also in charge of promotion and merchandise on top of making sure different groups work together. He has made some changes to creative, but he's not "booking" the show the way Heyman is.

5. Honestly I think some of it's a way to get clicks from people not knowing it's a Q&A.

More wrestling coming up.
