Smackdown Live and 205 Live Reax - 9/10/19

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Smackdown Live and 205 Live.

- Taker/Zayn:
This is a pretty cool look back.

NICE. Glad this moment wasn't just about Taker.

Man, it has been that many years of Taker in MSG, hasn't it?

I would mark for Sami and Shinsuke dropping Taker.

Not bad overall.

- Shane/Gable:
Oh wow. Tough situation for Elias.

Weird that Gable the babyface is trying to get a bye. He should be itching for a replacement.

- Miz vs. Andrade:
I enjoy what Vega brings to this act.

This is pretty smooth.

Hahaha Andrade with the assist for Miz.

NICE finish. I love Andrade but Miz is the one with a title match on Sunday.

- Shane/Apollo/Matt/Chad:
Yeah, see, Chad should be asking to face one of these two.

EXACTLY ACCORDING TO PLAN.

- Mandy promo:
That line about slamming doors for Nikki got me.

- Mandy vs. Cross:
This isn't bad.

Ehhhhhh.

- HM backstage:
I mean at least they got to be on TV in Madison Square Garden, right???

- Bayley/Ember:
I like the continuity here.

Ember going in on Bayley damn.

- HM squash:
Not bad to remind us these two exist.

- Shane/Owens:
Hmmmmm.

- Rowan/Roman:
I like the change of pace from Rowan being the subjugate.

I hope these two have a really crazy fight Sunday.

HOLY SHIT THAT USE OF THE FAN.

NICE use of the crane.

- Bayley vs. Ember:
Pretty solid so far.

Ember can be a player if they let her be.

That was nice!

- Post-match:
Really weird trying to turn Charlotte face.

- Kofi/Orton:
Man Kofi bragging about things from ten years ago.

Hahahahah Orton is so much fun.

This could be fun Sunday.

Well there's another big moment for Kofi.

- Shane vs. Gable:
BASED.

- Shane vs. Gable, Fall Two:
Haha Shane will keep going until he wins.

I like the story here involving Owens.

WHOOAAAAAAA Gable tapped out the submission specialist!

- Post-match: 
So much for getting that fine dropped. 

Oh man. Tough break for KO.

- Announcing change:
Oh wow. Interesting. I'm curious what that means for Dio's in-ring future.

- Gallagher promo:
AHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE IT.

- Gallagher/Kushida vs. Brian/Akira:

Can't wait to see more of Kushida on Wednesdays. 

I love the smooth mat work.

I'm loving the Brian/Akira teamwork.

I'm enjoying this; it's good to have a fresh name in the mix. 

All great work!

- Singhs promo:

I guess we're in for another tag feud. 

- Kanellises:

Kanellis needs a goal now that he's out of the 24/7 Title hunt. 

Wow, Maria doesn't cut him any slack. 

- Humberto/Lince vs. Gulak/Nese:

Oh. Well. So much for that match happening.  

That was a lot of fun! 

- Humberto/Lince/Gran vs. Gulak/Nese/Ariya:

Fun lucha teamwork.

This has good action to it. 

There's some good heat here. 

Amazing to see Gulak do the rocking spot. 

I'm impressed with everything here.

I'm really liking all the teamwork. 

That was all fun! Can't wait for the title match.
