Interviews with NXT interviewer/Stephanie/Owens/Walter, AEW title recovered, Raw nominated for PCA, WWE 2K showcase and legends, WWE planning new draft, first Full Gear match, Raw audience, AEW panel set for convention, sad Malenko health note, All Out match cut short, more All Out visitors, recent Impact name trying out for WWE, Kross-Impact updates, why Owens missed SDL, 205 Live match set, Carmella takes time off, more Global Wars matches, OWE postpones UK expansion, WWE writer change, new NXT USA match, RVD extends Impact deal, Impact signs former WWF/WCW/ECW star, Impact looking to use ECW name again, Shera return note, and Questions on where NXT's expansion leaves 205 Live, Vince's role in NXT, AEW PPV demand, and AEW poking the bear

NXT's Josiah Williams was profiled. I really respect him making a niche and showing so much skill he got on WWE's radar.

Stephanie McMahon was on "The Corp" podcast to discuss her business acumen.

AEW recovered their world championship. That's fortunate given how close they are to their TV debut.

- The championship was turned into local police. No arrests have been made in the ongoing case.

Raw has been nominated for a People's Choice Award as "The Show of 2019." That's going to be a pretty difficult category.

WWE 2K20 will have a Women's Evolution showcase. Fitting!

- The game also featured a legends commercial. That was quite good.

WWE is planning a draft for October, which will theoretically end the Wild Card Rule. The draft is expected to take place on October 11 for Smackdown and October 14 for Raw. This timing puts the first half of the draft a week after the 20th anniversary show. I'm good with the move since there are new backstage hires and a new TV home to freshen things up for.

Full Gear has officially announced Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley. I'm curious how they'll keep the build up for that one. It would be easy to segue into one of them challenging for the championship afterward, but I don't know if that's what AEW wants to do.

Raw drew 2.51 million viewers on Labor Day, very close to the previous week's number.

AEW will be at the New York Comic Con on October 4. Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, Awesome Kong, Brandi Rhodes, Nyla Rose, and Jungle Boy will discuss the TNT debut episode. That makes me think Nyla's winning the championship.

Dean Malenko is battling Parkinson's Disease. That's really unfortunate. He's held in high regard.

- Malenko was the producer for All Out's main event.

All Out's Kenny Omega vs. PAC match was cut short for time. They wanted to do more. Maybe we'll see a rematch down the line?

Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux were at all Out, as was Tool's Adam Jones. Kross and Scarlett would be natural for AEW.

- Scarlett is at the WWE Performance Center this week for a tryout, so it looks like she's got a number of options.

- Kross has hired an attorney as part of his dealings with Impact. Yeah this could easily get worse before it gets better.

- Impact has said there was no heat with Kross not using real blood at Slammiversary. While there were no doctors at the event, EMTs were present.

Kevin Owens missed Smackdown Live due to preparing for Hurricane Dorian. I hope there's no heat on him for missing the show.

- Owens endorsed Juice Robinson in a Sports Illustrated interview. That's pretty cool.

Tuesday's 205 Live will feature Drew Gulak and Tony Nese vs. Lince Dorado and Humberto Carrillo. I'm curious if Nese will be involved at Night of Champions.

Carmella posted about a recent (unidentified) health scare. I'm glad she was able to refocus and hope we see her at 100% soon.

Walter discusses wanting to face Brock Lesnar and more. SIGN ME UP.

Global Wars Espectacular has added Joe Hendry vs. Shane Taylor in a Proving Ground match to Saturday's show and Marty Scurll vs. Joe Hendry to Sunday's show. Interesting to have a UK-based match on a CMLL show!

OWE has postponed their OWE UK tour due to issues with the local promoter. That's really unfortunate. I hope OWE didn't get scammed in the ordeal.

Smackdown Live's head writer has been replaced by Raw's head writer. Raw's new head writer was 205 Live's head writer before Paul Heyman took over on Raw.

NXT's USA Network debut has added Velveteen Dream vs. Roderick Strong for the North American Championship. That's a strong way to start the brand's run there!

Rob Van Dam has signed with Impact through January. Previously his deal was set to end at Bound For Glory, so this presumably goes through a marquee event in that month.

- Van Dam will soon have stem cell treatment in Colombia, similarly to what Rey Mysterio and Brian Cage went through recently. He's working with a number of issues right now.

Impact has signed Johnny Swinger. Amazing to see he'll have a regular role in 2019; there've been quite a few names from past eras coming back for runs!

Impact is looking to use Sabu again. In their defense, shows with ECW veterans have done better for the company attendance-wise.

Mahabali Shera was backstage at Impact's Mexico events. I'm curious when we'll see him on TV again.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It would make a ton of sense to use the 205 Live roster to fill time on a longer NXT show. They do use 205 Live names on NXT live events at times. The main question is what's the future for 205 Live when Smackdown moves to Fridays, as I wouldn't think they'd want to fly talents to Florida on Wednesdays and then with the Smackdown tour starting Fridays. We'll see. It's worth noting 205 Live isn't particularly successful compared to NXT, so it could very well be time for a change soon.

2. I don't see how one has anything to do with the other. Shayna vs. Rhea was set before the move to USA was official. Right now there are no plans for Vince to get involved with NXT's creative direction, but if NXT does poorly against AEW, it's logical to think Vince will want to change how things are done there.

3. In a world when you can get several streaming services for a full month at that price, it was definitely a lot to ask for to watch one show. AEW is really, really hot right now, and probably did pretty well at the $50 price point, but the price had to have deterred a lot of potential fans from ordering.

4. That's entirely possible. AEW has blown all expectations out of the water, but realistically this will definitely be a big challenge.

5. They've hardly been humble! WWE was going to respond to anyone who achieved a certain level of prominence, but AEW taking shots at WWE has made them even more of a target. They're in for a fight.

More wrestling tomorrow.
